I think it is quite obvious that one of the most popular aspects of Frozen is the songs. Sure, other aspects such as animation and characters and the plot are important to the popularity to this movie, but you can't listen to animation or sing to make a charater. Perhaps for the plot maybe, but it's kind of hard to make a countdown out of that.
Recently, you guys voted on polls, creating a countdown in which you're about to see!
9. In Summer
This song was described by fans as "the worst scene in the movie" . It was also said to be "inessential" to the movie, and was unneeded. It seemed like just an excuse to have another musical number. This caused the song to fall into last place in this countdown.
8. Reindeer are Better than People
This song, took up hardly a minute, if even, and it described Kristoff's loneliness. Yet, it came in second to last place, because like the song "In Summer", fans claimed the movie would be just fine without it.
7.Fixer Upper
A song sung by the trolls, it was known that it would be within the first few eliminated. I'm just surprised the song even lasted this long, beating two songs sung by, at the very least, well-liked characters. I guess it did better than expected so I'm proud of it!
6. Frozen Heart
The very first song in the movie, also the least memorable, this song takes 6th place, defeating only three songs- three song that are obviously hated among the fandom. This song, however is clear that the fans who voted seem to be neutral to this song, if they even remembered the existence of it.
5. Love is an Open Door- TIE
Yep. There was a tie and I'm sure you won't be nearly as surprised with this one as you would be for the song it's tied with. This actually does seem to be a generally liked song throughout the fandom, but of course all songs have their haters, and it just so happens that the haters participated in this countdown.
5. Let it Go- TIE
I know what most of you are thinking: "Wait, am I reading this right?". Let me answer that question. Yes you are reading this right, the most popular song, the one song that is always played on the radio. The song that won an Oscar, didn't win for once. But also, keep in mind: This is Fanpop. Elsa is not the popular one on here, so there for neither is her song. But I bet you in any other place it would have won.
4. Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?
And fourth place goes to the song with Anna trying to reconnect with her sister. Perhaps it's because of the emotion brought to this song, or maybe it's because of adorable young Anna. Either way, I believe it is quite clear that "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?" Earned it's spot in first place.
3. Make Today a Perfect Day(Frozen Fever)
Yep, that's right! I included a Frozen Fever song, because I count it as being a Frozen song. Fans really seemed to enjoy Frozen Fever, seeing as how this song remained until the second to last round.
2. For the First Time in Forever (Reprise)
This is the first time Anna and Elsa actually have finally talked to each other, for once in years, and since fans enjoy the sisterly relationship between Anna and Elsa, it makes sense that it would rank so high. Both Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel's voice sounded amazing together and really deserved number 2!
1. For the First Time in Forever
And last, but not least is the original version of For the First Time in Forever. Anna seems to be an extremely popular character on Fanpop so it makes sense that her "theme song" would win. This song, throughout the countdown was hardly ever criticized, so it comes as no surprise it won!
So thanks for reading this article and tell be your thought!
