Congratulations to WinterFirefly, our beloved fan of Frozen, for becoming the fan to be interviewed this month! Let's check out her answers to the given questions!
First of all, would you like to introduce more about yourself? What are your favourites besides Frozen (of course)?
My name is Holly, well... technically that isn't my real name, but I prefer to be called like that. I'm not really a big fan of spreading out my real name. I am a BIG fan of Disney and DreamWorks. I'm not much of a gamer, but I do love The Legend of Zelda and a few other games. I belong to too much fandoms, and I don't think I can state them all here! xD
Tell us about when and how did you find out Frozen! Why did you become interested to this movie?
Actually, the first time I saw the movie posters, I wasn't that interested and I was like, "Meh... They look like Rapunzel.". I didn't pay much attention to the movie, until the release date came. My brother and my sister wanted to watch it, and I was like, "I'd rather watch Catching Fire.". But, I didn't wanna go alone, so I was stuck with watching Frozen... And... I didn't regret a thing!
How much do you love this movie? Rate it 1 to 10 and tell us the reason why.
I think I'd honestly give it an 8. Yeah, it was a good movie, but seriously. I, myself, know that it couldn't have defeated The Lion King. It had a few flaws, that was for sure, but something made it stand out from the other movies. Usually the DP stereotype would be all brave and cheerful, but in Frozen, we were given a different thing. A "good" kind of different.
What moral did you get from this movie?
What I learned from the story is that sometimes life strangles you and keeps you in from this world, but you need to learn to break free from the chains that tie you to the ground. Sometimes... even if everyone's against it, you need to defy gravity.
Who is your favourite character and why?
I love Elsa. She's a different kind of girl, in my perspective. I've been used to fun, loving and exciting princess... and Elsa has a different "recipe" to her attitude, which made me love her so much. She's selfless and strong, which I think, is one of the values that little girls of this generation need to develop more. Not to mention her gorgeous design, and her awesome sass!
What does your favourite song list looks like?
Let it Go is obviously the in the first place. It expresses about freedom from the world that choked you, and not caring about what the people say about you. It's a wonderful kind of fearlessness [yes, that is a word...]
From all of the songs in the OST, I think Life's Too Short would be my second fave. I don't know why, but I am somehow attached to it. I think it would have been better if the FTFTIF Reprise would be replaced by that.
Next to that, FTFTIF and it's reprise, and Love is an Open Door.
What is your favourite scene? Why?
My fave scene is the ENTIRE Let it Go sequence. Simply expresses Elsa letting go of her fear, and unraveling the beauty that she has found in her magic for many years.

How does Frozen affect you? (your life, your hobby, your surroundings)
Frozen affected me a lot once I watched it. Finally, a Disney movie made for the unspoken princesses of the world. I am shy... and bubbly at the same time, and Frozen showed me that I shouldn't be afraid to show the world who I really am. BTW, I developed a strong liking for snow once I watched that movie... but it doesn't snow in my country so... *sigh*
About Frozen franchise:
- have you ever watched something because it has something that is related to Frozen? If yes, tell us what is it.
Oh my... To tell you the truth, I only watched Rise of the Guardians a few days after Frozen was released, and I started shipping Jelsa. I wasn't really interested in the Big Four, until I heard of Jelsa.
- do you own any Frozen merchandise?
I have a TON of notebooks and stickers. My mom protests in me buying dolls, and I haven't actually seen them in the country.
- are you interested to see Frozen in Broadway?
Frozen + Broadway = THEATER EXPLOSION! Of course I would love to see that on stage, but I do wonder how they're gonna fit a skating rink on the stage.
Do you wish for Disney to create a sequel for Frozen? If yes, what are your hopes for the sequel. If no, tell us why.
That's a YES and a NO. YES because, I wanna know more about Elsa's powers, and I want to see her and Anna catching up with each other. Major plus, we'd be seeing more of Elsa's pretty ice magic in the silver screen once again.
NO because, I have this weird feeling that most sequels never become as good as the first movies, and I feel like it's going to be a flop [like Madagascar]. And, I'm sure Disney and DreamWorks is utterly against my ship, so yeah... they're never gonna make that happen.
Is there a thing could change in this movie, what is it? If no, why?
Perfect that you asked me this! I really would love Frozen if it was more of Elsa, than Anna. Sure, Anna's adventure was pretty awesome...
But, I think what mattered the most was Elsa's side of the story. Yeah, Anna was hurt whenever her sister declined her play date offers, but it KILLED Elsa everyday. She wasn't the kind of person who loved saying "No."
So basically, I'd like Frozen to be centered on the Snow Queen... the real reason why the movie is called "Frozen"... and not about the bubbly younger sister who wanted to save her sister.
