FRIENDS was the greatest show made that changed the world of television forever.
In September 1994 Friends had begun. For some odd reasons, the ratings didn't go until summer of 1995. That summer changed everything.
More and more fans started tuning in to the new show. For the first couple of seasons despite their low budget they still managed to put on great shows for their audience. Then when good money started coming in they had better material to give which made the ratings higher and higher.
Each year after that their finales became more exciting and leaving the audiences all over the world dying to know what was coming next. Relationships between the characters beginning or ending drove the fans up and down. Plots and stories connected so well bringing in more and more audiences nation-wide.
In my own opinion, FRIENDS was the greatest show ever created on television. It had comedy it had love it had drama. It had a little bit of everything. It was welcomed by men and women. It had some of the greatest quotes and lines still said today. FRIENDS revolutionized television forever.
Season ten was their last and final season ending in mid year of 2004. Writers and creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane were working at their hardest to make season ten come out with a KABOOM. They began linking together all old plots and getting whomever they needed to get together. For example, Ross and Rachel the famous couple on friends and the real main storyline was also coming to a close. Writers Kauffman and Crane finally got them together after their rough and bumpy relationship through the ten years. They had the most complex relationship on the show, so writers worked their hardest to make them get together but slowly in the season and in a way that was slightly dramatic, romantic and yet still funny. The finale had around 50 million people watching.
FRIENDS i think was the most successful show on television. Many people wanted it to keep going but because of financial problems they decided to call it quits. But i think it was a perfect time when they had ended it. The show was about a period in time after college but without the parents. Since almost all the characters on the show were forming into families it wouldn't fit the time the writers were trying to portray.
After ten years of laughs, cries, memories, and success, it was finally coming to a close. Even though it is over, people will still remember the characters, the stories and the memories of FRIENDS. FRIENDS was a success since the beginning and it will live forever.
