Warning: This is hilarious, and a bit gross. Enjoy!
"Wren!" Two voices boomed from behind me, causing me bite my tongue. "We brought you something!"
"Do I even want to know what it is?" I groaned and turned to Fred and George.
"Can-deeee!" Fred hummed loudly, dancing around George, who held a small paper-bound package.
"I don't know, I'm not supposed to take candy from strangers." I shrugged and turned back to my homework.
"Ah, come on! We aren't that strange!" George rolled his eyes and waved the tiny parcell in front of my face.
"You really expect me to just take some sort of 'candy' from you, and not even be a little timorous?" I snapped as I wave him away.
"Stop using big words and just eat it already!" The twins shouted in unison as George threw down the wrapped object and Fred threw his hands up in frustration.
"If it'll make you two leave me alone." I said, angrily snatching up and unwrapping what appeared to be an orange piece of taffy. The two sat across from me as I chewed it reluctantly.
"Well?" George smirked.
"How does it...er...taste?" Fred asked, trying, and failing, to hide an identical smirk.
"Like rainbows and butterflies." I sighed, finishing it off. Hermione walked past, and stopped dead as she saw me.
"Oh, don't tell me you're testing on her now!"
"You said not to test on first years, Hermione. You didn't say anything about fifth years."
"I knew it! I knew there was something wrong here!" I shouted, standing up. A violent pain shot through my head.
"What did you two do to her?" Hermione gasped, taking my arm.
"We just gave her a Nosebleed Nougat, that's all." Fred said plainly, as if Hermione's icy glare had no effect on him. I slowly sat back down.
I rubbed my sinuses gently, silently fuming. "I'm a hemophiliac." My voice shook, and my hands trembled against my nose. Fred and George gave me odd looks. "It means I could bleed to death really easily!" A tear rolled down my cheek.
"Wren- we swear, we didn't know!" Fred gaped, face draining of color.
"Where's the other piece?" George shouted, standing up. He felt all of his pockets, and all of Fred's without thinking. He then began frantically shaking the piece of paper wrapping that the nougat had been wrapped in. He stared through a little tear in it with horror.
"George," I whimpered, holding a hand to my head.
"Wren, it's going to be ok." He said, almost shouting. I slowly raised a hand to my right nostril. In one swift movement, I pressed it shut and blew a large stream of blood straight into George's eye. He pulled away instantly, gagging and hollering for something to wipe it off with. I popped the other piece of candy in my mouth as I watched him run about with disgust for a few more minutes.
"I'm not really a hemophiliac!" I called and tossed him a tissue. "Not so funny on the other hand, eh?" I picked up my homework and strolled out of the common room feeling quite satisfied.
