Commissioner Mick Foley got a standing ovation from the sold-out crowd at the FleetCenter as he headed to the ring. The commish spoke of the non-title match between Angle and Triple H, and the No. 1 contenders match between Jericho and Rock, with the winner to face Angle on SmackDown! Foley said that his job was a lot harder than he thought, and that it was a job too big for him. He said he had loved being the commissioner, and it was a dream come true. He then smiled and said he wasn't quitting, but he needed some help!...

WWF Women's Champion Debra was scheduled to defend her title on this episode of RAW against the huge female bodybuilder Nicole Bass in what on paper looked like a foregone conclusion given the gulf of size and strength advantage that Nicole would have against Debra who wasn't really known for much fighting wise beyond a slap!

Debra however smartly used the rule that she had 30 days to defend the title to avoid this certain quick and painful beat down at the hands of Nicole and instead challenged...

Debra makes her way to the ring

After months off our television screens, Debra made her first major appearance of the new millennium for WWE by making a surprise return at the beginning of the pay per view to warm applause from the fans who clearly had not forgotten the "Puppies"!

She was here to introduce the teams for the opening match for the WWF Tag Team Championship between the defending champs Edge & Christian taking on DX Members, X-Pac and Road Dogg Jesse James accompanied by Tori.

After this night we wouldn't see Debra again until October later in the year as she was off screens spending time with the recovering Steve Austin who also made an appearance in the Main Event between The Rock and Triple H!
