Foreman after Thirteen walks out on him
Foreman after Thirteen walks out on him
That episode was pure gold! The foreteen-ness blew me away with incredible awesomeness! Needless to say, I liked this episode, so I decided to write an article about it =D

The first scene they had in the patient's garage showed that she clearly does care about him, we've seen before that she's happy to sleep around, but with Foreman's something's clearly different because of the feelings she has for him. And, she even admits it.

Foreman: Busy tonight, we can get some dinner?
13: I don't think so.
Foreman: So making out okay, meal's too intimate?
13: i don't want to kiss you again either.
Foreman: Why, because we work together?
13: No, because I like you.

I also noticed the slightest hint of worry on Foreman's face when 13 mentioned how she wouldn't try to commit suicide like the patient did, and how she assured him she wasn't planning anything, I liked that, as much as you can like a conversation about suicide =P

The holding hands scene was really sweet. Foreman's face when she followed the others out of the room leaving him there alone was heartbreaking! It was like he thought that his best efforts weren't good enough for her, and seeing her walk away was like a slap in the face. (I even screencapped this, I'm not so great at describing things =P)

From their actual conversation I liked:
13: It has nothing to do with you.
Foreman: I know, that's the problem.

I think it shows more how Foreman has actual feelings for her because it's like he hopes that he'd mean more to her than anyone else that she would be hurting when her Huntington's got more serious. He also tells her basically that he would be there for her as more than her doctor, saying he'd support her and that's why she should accept him and allow him to.

I also liked that when the others first came in asking if it was a bad time she said no and he said yes, showing that he really wanted to discuss the possibilities more with her, and I just thought hat was sweet.

Then you have him moving his healthy patient to just before Thirteen's appointment, less cool. I thought that was an abuse of power by him, basically to get in her pants, and i didn't that that was right. You could look at it in a positive light, in that he is tying to make her feel better, but I still don't really approve. But I don't wanna focus on that, moving on =P

The final 14 scene, her deciding to ask him out, I'm afraid the only word I can manage is SQUEEEEEEEEEEE =D i can't wait to find out if we get to see this date, or what happens from it, I just can't wait for more Foreteen goodness in general!

Another point about that last scene I thought I'd mention, the fact that she's feeling better despite being on the placebo. To me this shows how she is trusting him and his trial enough that she is getting positive 'mind-over-matter' results. :)

Overall, I liked the epside, the Foreteen-nes in particular! What about you guys? Anything I've forgotten? Bring on more Foreteen! =D

Well, in my mind at least.

Here are some of the reasons why ~

1) Foreman nearly killed her in his desperation to save her:
Not only did he risk his job and his career by switching her from the placebo onto the Huntington's drug, he actually risked her life. He was so desperate to help her that he damn near killed her! As pointed out by House, love blinds people and makes them do stupid things, and Foreman did the mother of all incredibly stupid things!

2) Thirteen brings out the best in Foreman:
Obviously, Foreman came out of his shell at Chase's bachelor party. He was having fun and was keen for...

Here is my entry for the Ship Month Fan Fiction Contest. Never done a Foreteen fanfic before, so bear with me on this one because I haven't had any practice at writing these characters and I don't write serious fan fiction. If this turns out to be an unholy disaster, please don't point and laugh!

Foreman & Thirteen in 'Boombox'

Foreman opened his car door and struggled to pull the giant boombox out from the back seat. It was heavy and awkward to carry, but eventually Foreman managed to lift the device out of the car and carry it to the middle of the courtyard outside Thirteen's apartment...
