When I was a kid Disney was a big part of my life. It made me want to believe in my dreams and that someday my dreams will come true.

So when I was 19 at the time when I seen Tangled in February 2011 I was a bit skeptic yet excited and BOY what a movie it turned out to be. Not only is this movie so good its actually my ALL time favourite movie and if you don't know why well let's dive into the review.

The movie starts with a young man talking about his story on how his gonna die[yeah he was being so sarcastic here]and he explains that the story isn't about him in fact its about a young girl named Rapunzel and it starts with the sun.Apparently a drop of sunlight was sent down from the heavens and of course it creates a magical golden flower,that is kept hidden by an evil old woman[who I think is a witch]that can heal the sick and injured.

Rapunzel(voiced by Mandy Moore)happens to get the magic of the golden flower as her mother got sick while giving birth to her and Gothel(Donna Murphy)kidnaps Rapunzel and raises her as her own in order for her to keep herself young. Years later and Rapunzel is now grown up and wants to see the floating lights that appear every year on her birthday.

Meanwhile a sly sarcastic criminal named Flynn Rider(Zachary Levi)is on the run from the guards after stealing a crown belonging to the long lost princess Rapunzel and he finds a place to hide....RAPUNZEL'S TOWER!!! Rapunzel whacks him out cold with a frying pan and when he wakens up she makes a deal with him that he must take her to see the lanterns and she will give him back his stachel and from here on in the two go off on a hilarious heartfelt tangled up adventure where they discover some hidden secrets that neither of them wanted to tell the other about.

Flynn Rider was really a shy caring bloke called Eugene Fitzherbert and his from a poor background,Rapunzel tells him that her hair has magical powers and glows whenever she sings a special song called Incantation song.

As the two spend some quality time together the two fall in love with each other but will Gothel destroy their relationship???

SO after all this im sure your saying to yourselves WHY is this my all time favourite,its silly,its for kids and its been done COUNTLESS times before well here is why?

1 is because of the animation. This is so flawless and beautiful to look at its like your watching a live action movie the whole time your watching it.

2 the story to this film is brilliant. I love how they put in ALL the emotions into it. Depressing,Serious,Romantic,Sad,Hilarious all rolled into 1hour and 36 mins. I mean there's a reason why Rapunzel had magical powers,there's a reason why she fell for Eugene its all just wonderful and brilliant.

3 the charcthers. I love all the charcthers in this movie but the real stars of Tangled is Eugene Fitzherbert and the horse Maximus. Every time I see these two together they crack me up.
Also I love Rapunzel too. That girl can KICK ASS with all of that hair she has.

4 The chemistry between Rapunzel & Eugene is beautifully well done. They somehow remind me of Belle and the Beast meets Aladdin & Jasmine, Belle and the Beast because there polar opposites of each other. One of them is so full of themselves,while the other is innocent and childish,and Eugene is the one that's full of himself but you see later on as the film progresses that his really a nice guy at heart and that he wanted to fit in,while Rapunzel is the one that's innocent but she wants to be free. I love how the voice actors made them so real and how they expressed their charcthers through emotions and body language. They maybe my all time favourite couple after Aladdin and Jasmine.

One scene that showed these charcthers how they admitted that they loved each other was the lantern scene..which in my opinion was so beautiful and flawless.

5 the songs. Each song is so memorable I could listen to them non stop and one of my favourite songs in this film is I See The Light sung by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi which was sung beautifully by both actors,especially Zachary Levi who in all honesty was BRILLIANT. Oh and did I forget to mention that the legendary Alan Menken is in charge of the music in this movie. I MEAN GOD that man is A FUCKING GENIUS.

6 first CGI movie ever made to make me cry. If you seen it you know that it happens during the climax of the film for those who never seen Tangled give it a chance and see it for yourselves.

Overall im giving this the highest rank of 10 out of 10.

BRILLIANTLY well done animated film that has ALOT of heart and fun.
