The tattoo on his right arm is his jersey number at both Liverpool and on the Spanish national team. The tattoo on his left arm is written in Tengwar, a language created by J.R.R. Tolkien and is used in Lord of the Rings books and movies. He also has a tattoo of his wife's name, Olalla, and his daughter's name, Nora on each of his arms. The tattoo on his leg is of a date and I read somewhere that it's the date of the first time he kissed Olalla but I don't know if it's true.

I think the date on his leg is the birth of his daughter in Roman numerals...
