Ok, so this is an idea I got the other day actually. I wasn't completely sure on how it was going to go, but I'm going to write it anyway. Also, this is humanized.

Cam walked out of his office exhaustively. He closed the door behind and locked it tight. I can't wait until I get some sleep. He thought gratefully. A ray of light shined at him and he turned around. He refocused his bright blue eyes and searched for the source. He realized the light was coming from an office next to his. Who could possibly be working in their office this late? He walked to the office and slowly opened the door. He moved his blonde hair out of his eyes and squinted at the slouched figure on the desk. Wait a second! Is that...?
"Madi?" He realized. Suddenly, her eyes shot open.
"What the frick is going on?!" She exclaimed. Madi ran her fingers through her tangled brown hair. She stifled a yawn before asking her question.
"What time is it?" She asked tiredly.
"About 1 am." Cam said monotonously.
"Holy crap! It's that late?" Madi replied surprisingly. "I got so caught up with cleaning out this place right now."
"Cleaning out? For what reason?" Cam questioned.
"To get rid of the crap I don't need, including stuff from my past." She replied flatly. She yawned again.
"Maybe you should finish that tomorrow." Cam stated.
"That's probably for the best." Madi admitted. She slowly stood up and trudged towards the door. Cam stopped her.
"Maybe I should take you home myself." He joked. Madi wrapped her arms around his neck. He lifted her up from under her knees and carried her out.
"Hey, where's my cell?" Madi asked. Cam grabbed her phone when suddenly it started ringing.
"Blocked number?" Cam asked and pressed Answer.
"What the frick are you doing?!" Madi questioned, panicking.
"Hello?" Cam answered.
"No!" Madi shouted, reaching for the phone. She lost her balance and fell to the floor. Cam hung up and went to her side.
"What? What did I do?" He asked worryingly.
"That number was blocked for a reason!" Madi snapped.
"I heard a guy's voice. Who was that?" Cam questioned. Madi paused, biting her lip.
"It was my ex."
