as I watched the sun crawl into place, my men... And girl, we're behind me. They had fallen asleep sometime during the night. All of a sudden, an enraged Rico thunders out of the HQ. he sees me, then growls. He lunged at me, but I ducked. he instead toppled onto kowalski. The sudden force waking him up, "WHAT THE-" he exclaimed. At reaction, amber wakes up, screaming like she was about to he eaten by some psychotic monster. And, again, in turn, private wakes up. He screamed and curled himself ini a ball. Kowalski crawled out from under Rico, then brushed off. "skipper!" he whined, "theres gotta be a less painfull way to wake us up." amber cane back from he state of shock, and chimmed in. "yeah, like NOT GIVING ME A HEART ATTACK!!!" she Put on a pair of headphones, and plugged then into her iPad thing. She pushed on the volume up button until I could hear the music myself. She did a kart wheel, then slipped into HQ. "I wonder what got into her?" private asked. In the minute of awkward silence that followed, amber popped out of the hatch. "hey skipper we're going on a vacation kaykay thanked bye!!!" amber breathed out, all at once. Amber dropped down into HQ, then trudged ino the lab, I followed, kowalski and the others on my tail feathers. "now hold on, amber!" I commanded. She randomly pressed a few buttons on a circuit board, then looked my way. "you said we could talk about it." she said Sarcasticaly. "I never said any duh thing." I declared. "well, actually, skipper, you did. Last night." kowalski said. I elbowed him sharply in the chest. Amber just looked time with he green eyes wide an glowing, and that sweet smile. I narrowed y eyes. "that only works on them." I said, pointing to the three penguins behind me. "oh" Andover said with a flat expression. She thought for a second. She pulls kowalski into a hug. She smiled and made her cheeks pink. "will you PWEASE tawk skippew into letting us go on a vacation? Pwetty pwease?" she said, blinking continuously. He just stared at her. "uh..." he said obliquely. Amber saw tht he wast convinced and pushed him to the side. She wandered over to a self full of liquids in capsuls. "fine." she said evily. She grabbed two tubes, one with a purple liquid, and other with an orange, and walked over to we're private was. She had a devious smirk on. She twisted a capsul open and hel it above private's head. "now, we all know I CAN and WILL take drastic measures, don't we? What does this random liquid do kowalski?" kowalski got up and looked at the capsul. "it would make him extremely emotionally challenged for a while. He would change attitudes with a clap of the flippers." he said. I charged at her and took her down. She may be one of my team, and able to read and write, but she takes things too far. And that was a condition. Dementia. She got up and brushed off. "your right, sorry, sorry.
