Umbra, use Dark Pulse!!!
Here goes! (Btw, a full Pokémon battle is 2 trainers using 6 Pokémon each.)
Part 1
It is a warm, summer evening in Canyon City as our heroes gear up for the Canyon City finals.
Tyler said in amazement, "Look at Charizard finishing that Ampharos with Dragon Claw!"
Aura said to Lucario, "We made it to the finals, Lucario. Aren't you happy?"
Lucario nodded and looked at the t.v. as it showed Tyler's battle against Percy, a lifelong enemy. Jenna looked at the tv, and thought, "Looks like we're next."
Rhett came by and put his hand on her shoulder and said, "Salutations, Jennifer Voorn. You beat me because you were playing hard to get, weren't you?" Jenna replied rudely , "Don't call me Jennifer, call me Jenna. Plus I don't want you, no matter how much money you have." She kicked his stomach and stormed off.
Aura looked at Rhett and shook her head. When she saw Tyler, she said, "Ty!"
Tyler replied, "I just wanted to say good luck to you. We are not pulling any punches."
Aura said back, "Neither am I." They high fived each other and left.
She thought to herself, "Don't worry, mom and dad. I'm gonna win one for the Aura Kingdom."
Tyler was in his room looking at clips from the festival. One showed Manuel's Garchomp beating Mawile with Earthquake; another showed Jenna's Infernape beating an unknown trainer's Cradily with a Flame Wheel/Stone-Edge combo. Tyler said to Umbra, his Umbreon, "Don't worry, Umbro. We're gonna win against Aura, and no one's gonna stop us!" Umbra replied, "Umbre Umbreon." (Translation: Yes, we will!)
As he and Umbra went to sleep, flashbacks from older Pokémon battles raced through his head. The first one was Sceptile vs Metagross. The second one was Umbreon vs. Aura's Lucario, when Team Rocket interrupted. The third one was Greninja vs Jenna's Infernape. The frog Pokémon knocked her Infernape out with a Water Pulse attack.
Tyler said to himself, "I gotta do this."
Part 2
The next day...
Aura woke up and saw Tyler and Empoleon training. Jenna woke up and looked at him, thinking, "You may devastate my Pokémon, but my love for you will never die."
Tyler cried, "Use Flash Cannon!" The Emperor Pokémon fired a silvery white beam at a row of trees, knocking them all down.
Aura thought in her head, "Nice try, Tyler, but I'm gonna kick your butt right back to Holland."
Hours later...
The emcee said out loud, "GOOOOD DAY, Canyon City! This is our final day of my Canyon City festival. I know you've enjoyed some battles, but all good things must come to an end. We have 4 Pokémon trainers left. Here are their names: Tyler, Jenna, Aura, and Möbius. The semi-final Pokémon battles will consist of 2 trainers using 3 Pokémon. The finals will consist of only 2 trainers and 6 Pokémon."
First battle, Tyler vs Möbius...
Tyler looked at him, and said, "I'm gonna knock dem nerdy glasses off your face." Möbius smiled and replied, "Good luck with that."
The emcee cried, "Battle begin!"
Möbius sent out a Reuniclus. Tyler sent out Umbra, his first Pokémon. Tyler commanded, "Umbra, use Dark Pulse!" The Dark Pulse devastated Reuniclus, but it refuses to back down. Möbius told it to use Dizzy Punch, but Umbra was too quick for it. Then the Moonlight Pokémon used Iron Tail, lowering its defense on the cool. Pissed, Möbius commanded Reuniclus to use Hyper Beam!
Meanwhile on the second stage, Jenna already lost her Infernape. Jenna growled, "I'm not giving up. Go! Espeon!" She sent out an Espeon; she named it 'Sunburst.' Aura sent out a Zoroark. Espeon started out with Swift, but Zoroark ate it and used Night Slash, slightly cutting Espeon. Scared, Jenna told it to use Psychic, but it did nothing, so Zoroark finished it with another Night Slash attack!
The emcee announced, "Möbius has lost 2 Pokémon, and Tyler hasn't lost one. As for Aura and Jenna, let's just say Aura's gonna win."
Möbius smiled and said, "You're pretty strong." Tyler returned Umbra to his Poké Ball and said, 'Thank you. Now meet my Charizard!"
Möbius said, "A Charizardite X, eh? I haven't seen those in Germany. But here's my Altaria!" A shiny Altaria stepped onto the field. Tyler cried, "Charizard, use Flamethrower!" The Dragon Pokémon released a red hot flame from its mouth. But Altaria dodged it and used Dragon Rush! Charizard blocked it from doing any damage. Möbius asked,"Ready to use our stones?" Tyler growled, "I was born ready."
They both said out loud, "Beyond evolution!" Both Pokémon mega evolved onto the playing field. The emcee said to himself, "Stuff just got real." The ref said to him, "It has."
Tyler commanded, "Use Dragon Claw!" Möbius said, "Use Ice Beam!" Charizard blocked the freeze ray with its claws and kept charging. The red glowing claws hit the Humming Pokémon really hard. Möbius roared, "Use Moonblast!" Altaria fired a pink and blue ball of moon energy at Charizard, causing major damage.
Meanwhile at the other stage, things for Jenna aren't looking good in her battle against Aura. The screen showed that Jenna lost her Espeon and Infernape. It also showed that Aura recently used Zoroark and Delphox. Jenna's Lopunny stands up, waiting for Lucario to come at her. Jenna commanded, "Drain Punch!" But Lucario dodged it and used Close Combat on her, putting Lopunny to sleep and leaving Jenna Voorn disappointed. Aura patted her on the shoulder. "It's ok, Jenna. You tried and that's all it matters." They both gave each other an awkward sister hug, even though they're not biologically sisters.
As for Tyler and Möbius, the screen showed that Tyler withdrew his Umbreon, and used Charizard, while Möbius the geek lost his Reuniclus and Gothitelle. Altaria used Moonblast on Charizard again. Tyler cried, "No!" When the dust cleared, it showed Charizard getting back up and using Thunderpunch, causing Altaria to take some serious damage. Then, Tyler commanded, "Blast Burn!" Charizard punched the ground and flames burst into Altaria's face, ending the battle.
Möbius threw a temper tantrum and ran out crying. He also threatened, "My daddy's gonna sue you!" Tyler said to himself, "Get a grip, sheesh."
The emcee announced with joy, "The semi-finals are over. The next round is the finals, featuring Tyler and Aura in a 6-on-6 Pokémon battle.
Aura and Tyler eyed each other intensely as they drew Poké Ball.
Aura sent out a Delphox; Tyler sent out his Umbreon. Delphox, faster than Umbreon, started out with Thunderpunch, but the Moonlight Pokémon dodged it and used Dark Pulse. But the dark aura was washed out by Delphox's Mystical Fire! Aura taunted, "Had enough?" Tyler shot back, "What the hell do you think? Umbra, use Payback!" The ring on his head glowed purple as he slammed into Delphox finishing it. Aura gasped and grunted as she groped into her pocket and sent out Blaziken. With no time, Blaziken used High Jump Kick on Umbreon, knocking him out in one hit.
