yer its dead annoying and its dead slow!
but it is a sore subject at the moment cos we are trying to get it sorted and the internet company is being gay so i might still be on it for a while :< GRR ♥

I JUST got off dial-up at my dad's. Now I have high speed there and here at my moms. <3 Thank Goood.

Alas, I am soldiering on with dial up. Hope to change that in the near future.

I'm not sure if this primitive computer could handle anything else.
It is really slow, and sometimes it takes forever to open a page or an image up. Sometimes it just won't let me do it at all.
Surprisingly, I discovered that high-speed can be just as slow, or sometimes even slower. I went to the library this past Saturday, and all of their computers are hooked up to a high-speed network. Since I can't fan people, rate, etc. from my home computer, I try to make it to the library to do that. It surprised the heck out of me, because it was taking me almost twice as long to open a page from Fanpop as it does at home. One of the people sitting next to me was complaining about how slow things were too, and I think they were just checking their email.
Has anyone who has high-speed had this problem at home?
