sometimes it just gets out for hand...I mean have we really lost the ability to have proper grammar, and spelling...even in ads and phone books things are never proof read.

Yes, I have had some slip ups, but overall it is just too much to read "their" LOL

Minor mistakes are tolerable. Textspeak is what bothers me. lurn who 2 spel, kideez.

If it is really unreadable it is annoying but I don't mind otherwise and by the way... Repeat pick.

it is not a repeat that was based on just questions and answers...here. I was thinking of all other websites, esp you tube.

i would say "well then its miscategorized!" :D but people seem to take jokes so personally lately that i wont...:)
but like dasm and spammy aka wanttowatchheroes said..as long as i understand what they want and its just a typo its fine.
and as for pootube..thats like going to the twilight spot and pointing oot people are overly-obsessed ;)

as long as it isn't text speak and it is understandable I am fine with it. I am not the best myself with grammar and spelling so I can't come down on others.

when is obviously i dont want to make sense then yeah but my grammar and spelling is crap, usually becasue i just type and dont bother looking at the screen! haha!

it's really not a big deal to me. everyone makes mistakes, and some of the fanpopers are really young

I think it`s just kind of annoying to go through the trouble of having to try to read it.

Could be a typo or a word someone just does not know how to spell. It's the internet anyhow... who cares.

get a dictionary learn to spell...it will save your life.

lol laurencia i fail to see how being able to spell will save my life, i always try and write in stardard english (to use it's proper term as there is really no such thing as "correct" english") but it is hard to know every single spelling and most words don't obey rules and arn't spelled phonetically (i think i may have spelled that wrong) so not only do most people make mistakes but what about those on the site with dyslexia or those for whom english is their second language or even their third language, I won't get mad at someone for making a easy mistake

I also don't get mad at someone for correcting me and helping me learn

Text speak doesn't bother me either, I just don't like it on behalf of Germany123 who has to sit there and work it oot =D When I am typing on the pop I never really think about what I am typing so it doesn't bother me when someone can't spell definitely or uses there when it should be their because I have probably done that myself.

everyone has a occasionally mess up so i dont mind it but when people message me and i have no idea what they are saying thats when i get annoyed

It kinda annoys me because I have to decode it. I used to HATE spelling when I was little but now I spell the best out of anyone in my house...(not joking) It is ok with me if ppl mess up but plz TRY!!

haha i am just happy because on my computer it automatically tells me if i spell a word wrong and then it shows me how to correctly spell it. Although i dont make many mistakes its still nice

All the people here are from different countries so at their countries the english language is not their native language.And they do not know to speak it like the the people that are from england,the same that the englands can not speak the other languages so good as english.

Depends. Are they doing it just to annoy people? And is it simple words? I hate text speak for one. However I understand that some people just aren't good at spelling and others don't speak English as a first language, so bullying people for poor spelling annoys me even more than the spelling errors.

It does irritate me. Not because I'm a grammar Nazi (I'm not one anyway), it's because people know how to spell but now they lose the ability to properly spell. In the comment section of a video on YouTube, I found one of the worst spellers. He almost spelt gibberish, not English. Damn, it annoys me.



And that person had English as their native language.

Only when it's really bad and looks like the person hasn't bothered writing correctly, rather than English not being their first language, being dyslexic or just being a poor speller.
