Fanpop Question

How come some user accounts have been inactive for years (0 lifetime gold) yet not deleted by now?

I have found a lot of such dormant users,so to speak.Even fanned some by mistake. Are those accounts being abandoned by their users or did Fanpop take all of their gold because someone has reported them? P.S. The last wall posts were made over a year ago.

There are no reason to delete accounts that were inactive. So far that I know Fanpop would delete/block an account if the user spamming or trolling any spots on Fanpop.

Fanpop doesn't delete accounts for no reason. What if the person decides that they want to come back? I hate it when sites delete inactive accounts because believe it or not I have had moments where I wanted to go back to a site after a year of inactivity to find it gone.

@zanhar1 I see what you mean.Still, how come they were ALL stripped of their gold?I mean, for such long time users it's rather unusual they ALL have 0 gold, don't you think? They have to be reported to lose their gold, right?I'm new here so I still don't know.

^The gold features on Fanpop is still new and it was added around 1 or 2 years ago. For inactive users that didn't contributed in the time since the gold feature was added they won't be got any gold. Their contributes from several years ago before the gold feature was introduced weren't count.

Yeah I'm an old user if you were to look at my profile I have no gold but I have medals in clubs and have started at least one club but it was all before the gold. But I don't really care I come here once in awhile and catch up on what's happening.
