Um, porn is disgusting and people really don't want to see it on fanpop. If you wanna pay homage to her, go watch her for 4.99 a month.

Well, you need to accept that fanpop just isn't a place where porn videos, pictures, complete nudity, the showing of vaginas and so on is allowed. This is because many users here are young (you have already seen some user's opinions: "ewww pooorn, ewww seex, ewww nudity) and the people who pay money to fanpop by putting ads on here wouldn't support it either I've heard.

Just think of Fanpop as a PG-13 area :) It's not that Fanpop says porn is disgusting, it's just not allowed on here for certain reasons.
Now it would be okay to make a spot for a porn star as long as there would be only photos of her wearing clothes, no porn links, vids, and so on, but the thing is that it is hard to keep a spot clean like that. Some idiots will come around and post inappropriate things, so those clubs are usually deleted very quickly.

You can pay homage to her, just fanpop probably isn't the best place to do so. There are a lot of other popular websites though that are completely fine with all kinds of nudity and porn, like tumblr and livejournal. :)

No one else is complaining about a lack of porn fan clubs on Fanpop. That's just gross. It's been repeatedly said that this isn't a porn site, it's just one of the rules.

And you're entitled to you own opinion, but I find the idea of porn disgusting, but I've never actually seen any, and don't want to.

one of the last to chime in..papa did explain why they deleted the whole club: not because its offensive per se but the f4 have been around for a while to know that its an invitation for the "omg look anal sex" spammers and people posting too much nudity in images, uploading inappropriate videos etc


while i understand the purpose of your spot -knowing the internet- i see how it would probably quickly become a spot thats full of content thats against the terms of service and you-if your intentions are true- would probably spend more time reporting stuff than adding content.
i have no idea why everyone is saying that porn is gross, i dont care for it but i dont mind it either and see more nudity on our beaches than on fanpop but there we go..
it is a legitimate question (albeit phrased quite provocatively)and maybe we could all watch our language in terms of throwing insults at each other and conclude that while jenna jameson surely deserves a fanpage (heck! she was on oprah! :P) fanpop is not the place to put it.

maybe you could add stuff to "books to read" and other places (possibly with a NSFW warning? i didnt read the book) to give her post-porn-work some attention.

I actually agree with snowwhitesilver to some extent. I think that anything should be allowed on here because it is supposed to be a place to express yourself and what you like. But I don't agree with having porn on Fanpop. There are kind of young kids on here. But if someone is a porn star and they've done other appropriate things with their life, like write a book, they should be allowed to have a spot on Fanpop. Just because of what they do they shouldn't be cut out. Just as long as the porn isn't brought on, just talk about the book. If you really want to bring on pron, which isn't the best idea I don't think, you should be careful. Parents check some kids accounts and the porn could ruin other people's experiences on Fanpop. Just be careful with what you put on but still express yourself.

Yes, anything to do with porn and porn stars get deleted. It goes against the rules, which are made for a reason -- to protect and stop minors from getting at that material.

I know you said you only wanted to "pay homage" to Jenna Jameson and/or her book, but that's way too easy a spot for people to abuse. Do you really think that people wouldn't post pictures/links/videos to a pornstar's porn site, or from her videos? People do that on sites that have nothing to do with sex at all to begin with.

If you want a website, make your own. Or make a "homage" page on one of the other millions of sites that allow material like that.

Wow lol ok porn is not suppose to be on here because kids lie about their age and come here plus there's a lot of under age kids on here not to mention stuck up ppl thar think porn is gross...
