FanFiction.net Question

What the heck are the Critics United?

Someone had asked me a few days ago, if two years ago I think before my stories were taken down if the "Critics United" had reviewed my fanfics and I had got twice or thrice reviews of them warning me, I should delete my fics and treating me, that they knew my name (They addressed me by my full name although I have never mentioned my name anywhere) or they would put on me a law pursuit.

Who the heck are these people? FFN staff, Lawyers?

I looked it up. They're not lawyers. So don't worry about being in any legal trouble. They seem to be a watchdog group (kind of like a neighborhood watch) that take down stories that are deemed inappropriate or breaking the rules. They make sure people are following the rules. Apparently FF has gotten a bit police when it comes to stories, now.

Critics United is a fan group on FanFiction.Net created by some fans who "... were tired of all the poorly written rule breaking fics that were swarming the site, overshadowing writing that was allowed to be posted."
They do not have the power personally to delete fic, only to report those who don't follow the rules, making them volunteer fandom police: at best -- white knighters and worse -- tattletales"

In other words they sound like cry-bullies; people who whine and cry and use their victim complex/self righteous attitude to harass people. I hate fandom police type people. Like gtfo and let people write what they want.

If this is a thing then I'm in danger lmao. That's why I kinda moved to archive. More freedom, less crybabies.
