Does this happen to you?

Recently, on both FF and FP, it's been taking hours for me to get the emails for reviews or when I upload new chapters... am I alone, or has this happened to others? Do you know if it means something?

These are two different sites. Maybe it's your own connection that's getting slower. Check this with other sites you may surf on. I've read that if you have a Wi-Fi connection, it can get slower if someone outside can access it (Wi-Fi has about 30 metre range).

I have not noticed anything on my side regarding FF.net and FanPop.

No, I mean FP as in FictionPress, which is powered by the same server etc (and FP emails come from FFnet).

Ah, I did not know that detail ! LOL Sorry about the confusion. In general, when one site is slow and only that one, well, we may assume it comes from them. I'm writing stuff at the present time, I cannot tell as I haven't written enough to post yet. But I'll pay attention to your remark here.

Yeah, delays are annoying... but anyway think I'm going to go check that out, the FP site. Wrighting an original of my own, but I'm not sure if I'm going to post it or not. Guess I'll see... hm
