Why do people like Carlisle & Bella together?

I just don't see it he thinks of Bella as a daughter. And he only has eyes for Esme. I love the way Carlisle and Esme look at each other. I love that even after all these years Carlisle and Esme are still madly in love with each and to me that makes them the best couple in Twlight as well as my OTP next to Rose & Jack

Thanks for comment. I don't like them either. I mean everyone has a right to like who they want to but I don't get them
