ჱܓ What made you become an Eric Carr fan? ჱܓ

I always love asking this question!
Most people love the original line up...and I love you too Peter, but Eric seems like he was so meant to be the drummer for Kiss. Paul Stanley, Eric Carr, Ace Frehley, & Gene simmons have always been my favorite line up...I love Bruce Kulick too, he was awesome as well.
I became a fan of Eric when I was about 4...that's when I wanted a drum set of my own...little did I know it was going to be a Sesame Street one..hahaha! I wanted a BIG set like Eric's...to this day I have never been able to play with that many drums. He's the reason I wanted to be a drummer...just watching him play is a show in it self to me. If you've ever had the chance to sit behind a kit of that size, it's very overwhelming & awe inspiring...I say give it a try, it really makes you appreciate what he did that much more!!
I have yet to find another drummer like Eric...I've become a fan of Christian Coma, not a bad drummer and he's kinda cute as well. Sorry, but he's still no Eric Carr....always and forever the best drummer I've ever had the pleasure of listening too ^_^

When I first got into this kind of music I only wanted to hear the original band, no other lineups. But then I heard I Love It Loud, & I instantly fell in love with the drums on it. I had to find out who this guy was cuz it definitely wasn't Peter. I first saw Eric in his Fox makeup & thought he was super adorable! Then I saw him without it, even better! He's gorgeous, handsome, sexy, everything good haha. So I started listening to Kiss' 80s stuff & loved it. Eric's drumming is phenomenal. His solos especially. I never liked drum solos, but his are different. They were technical, he was very interactive with the crowd, they were..musical, it had rhythm to it. I thought him incorporating those pads was really cool & took it to another level. He's my favorite drummer, best I've ever heard. I had to find out more about him. I learned he's extremely talented, not just at drumming. I love that he can play other instruments, he's got a great singing voice, & he can draw. Multi talented, I like that. & he had an amazing personality, very sweet & down to earth. I love that he never put himself above anyone else, he was still a normal person like us, being in a big band didn't go to his head. I loved that he would take the time & actually hang out & talk to his fans. All this is what made me love him, what made me become a fan. Eric is just so amazing there isn't a word to describe how I feel about him. Perfect. That's as close as I can get, he's perfect, to me♥

Aww, I love your answer! I totally agree...he's got a great voice too, yet another side to his multi talentedness (if that's even a word, if not...it works for Eric in this case!) ^_^

Drummers were never my thing, I'm more of the guitar fan girl! But Eric is amazin' on those drums, for sure! I'm still a Tommy girl, but how could y'all not love a face like Eric's...and that hair. Lovein' the fox...he still rox =P

After watching Eric's performance in it I was like omg, this guy is like a drumming god! He is totally mesmerizing to watch. Your right, he is a show all by himself too! The energy he had was just fun to watch also, so I had to buy the dvd! I also got The best of Kiss the dvd collection, it's nice to watch stuff where he's basically immortalized for the younger generation to fall in love with him too, he reminds me of a cute teddy bear you'd just love to hug. I also like to think if Eric was still here there would still be a Fox with Kiss. I'm glad they didn't reuse his makeup, there is only ever going to be one Fox, the way it should be. It would be nice if Kiss would pay him a little homage, like put him on the big screens they use for like one song even. I really think the fans would go crazy for that! That's my little hope, even to do it just once before they decide to retire. Anythings possible :) <3 3>

★ I like that too....he is mesmerizing! I like your idea of a tribute...with Eric up on the screen, that would be awesome! I think the BeeGees did that with Andy, or something like it. My dad has tons of old albums and dvd's so I've seen and heard alot...it is great! ^_^ I love your pic of Eric too, very sweet...I love purple too ^_^ ★

The why reason I like Eric Carr is because he was widely known to be a kind and down to earth person. I have only been a fan of his for a short time but he has quickly become my favourite member from KISS. I also really like his fox persona and it’s sad that he passed away so young.
