Robbie Williams suggests Emma to play him in biopic

He's interested in doing comedy in the future but also sees himself co-writing a script about his life as a showbiz superstar.

While he'd play "old" Robbie, he struggles to think of an actor to play his younger self when he was at the top of the pop charts with Take That before going on to enjoy a successful solo career.

"I don't know who. Emma Watson?" he laughs.

"It would definitely be something I would have fun doing with some people who are incredibly talented and I liked."

The U.N. agency promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women has appointed Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway as a global goodwill ambassador.

UN Women Executive Director Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka called Hathaway a longstanding supporter of women's and girls' rights and said she will put the spotlight on women's work at home caring for their families as a key barrier to equality.

"The 'motherhood penalty' ... is a particularly insidious demonstration of gender inequality in the workplace," Mlambo-Ngucka said Wednesday. "The appointment of Anne is timely because this year UN Women is driving hard to foster more positive mindsets and practical arrangements around workplaces that build and support equality for women."

Hathaway called for stepped-up action, saying: "I feel honored and inspired by this opportunity to aid in advancing gender equality."

Emma's preface:

'I will preface this by saying - anything that makes navigating being a teenage girl even slightly easier is a godsend. This book is not for the faint-hearted (think lots of swearing, pictures of vaginas and "patriarchy busting"), but frankly I think that might be what we need - a book that unapologetically addresses what teenage girls are really dealing with. Don't understand what your teenage daughter is going through or, even if you do, how to help her tackle it? This is the book for you and for her. So necessary. SO timely. Thorough. Straightforward. Well researched....

From Emma:

I had the most amazing day in Malawi today.

Thank you President Mutharika for being a #HeForShe Impact Champion and for making gender equality a priority in your Government! Thank you to all the traditional leaders who are implementing President Mutharika's policies - especially Chief Kachindamoto (she’s in the photo with me, she’s formidable and has been nicknamed “The Terminator”!). She gave me such a warm welcome today. She has implemented the annulment of so many child marriages and restored the futures of these girls. With the help and collaboration of her local...

Dear OSS,

I've been searching high and low for our next book. The club has been much more international than I had anticipated - and much bigger. I'm really proud of my club members - discussion-wise - you are all hitting it out of the park. I'm having to find books that are accessible, cover multiple perspectives and languages, that are unique and not too well known already... So without further ado...

Our next book is going to be The Argonauts, by Maggie Nelson. The story is about the author’s relationship with artist Harry Dodge, who is fluidly gendered. It's about their romance,...

Rupert Grint does not count himself among the massive number of males who probably want to smooch Emma Watson.

"It was actually okay," Grint, 22, said of his onscreen kiss with Watson in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which opened in theaters Friday. "It was just the anticipation. Neither of us were looking forward to it."

Grint does, however, acknowledge that may seem a bit unbelievable to most fans.

"It sounds crazy, Emma's amazing," he says. "I've seen her grow up and known her since she was nine. It just doesn't feel right."

Translated by Watsonuncensored. (Thank you so much)

The British actress Emma Watson has become a model for many young women. In an interview with FR, she explains how she found herself and has overcome the hype after the Harry Potter films.

For at least a generation of moviegoers, Emma Watson will probably always remain Hermione Granger, the best friend of Harry Potter. She tried to distance herself from this image, and unlike many other child-stars, she was definitely successful. In her new film Colonia Dignidad, she plays a young woman in the Chile of 1973, in the turmoil of General...

1. Hermione is so close to who I am as a person that I've never really had to research a role. I'm literally rediscovering what it means to be an actress.

2.Hermione uses all these big long tongue twister words. I don't know what she's going on about half the time!

3.I have felt for the last 10 years I have had this battle; I've been fighting so hard to have an education. It's been this uphill struggle. I was Warner Bros' pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult.

Dear Our Shared Shelf,

Our next book will be Persepolis, a graphic novel that serves as the memoir of the author, Marjane Satrapi. It's about a bold and brave young woman and her experiences in 1980s Iran.

Persepolis was first published in French in 2003 and like Art Spiegelman's Maus (which was about the Holocaust and was the first graphic novel to win the Pulitzer Prize) is now widely considered a classic of the graphic novel form.

Satrapi grew up in Iran during the Islamic Revolution and its aftermath; Persepolis is the story of her childhood. Through Marji's youthful (though not-always-innocent)...

Quite a couple of fans didn't (want to) know that but there is a private Emma, having her own privacy. Of course, it's not real privacy as a normal citizen has, but at least she has a private life. We have collected some little information about that life and ask you to accept that we won't publish more about it. Thank you!

Emma lives in a town called Oxford in the UK. Oxford itself is very known for its university, which was used for a set location for Harry Potter, too.

In Oxford, she's visiting the Dragon School (central Oxford), when she's not currently making another Harry Potter film.

Emma has dark-blonde hair, brown eyes and is about 5'3'' (~1.60m) tall.
