If you are so upset about the casting choice then don't see the movie, Viets. That's about all I can tell you, that or just give Robert a chance. Like neeki said, you can still read the books and keep your image of Edward in your head, so just keep that up. But please stop posting picks like this, we already have a couple on this spot if I remember correctly and you can voice your opinion there.

I have to admit that at first, I questioned about Robert being cast as Edward, but after observing his acting in several of his movies, it was so obvious that he's a very good actor and he CAN look quite dazzling. Most people seem to judge his appearance from non-studio photos, so yes... he might seem a little rough around the edges, but he really is a brilliant actor. I'll bet all those bashing him right now will be embarassed after they see the movie and actually fall for him. And I bet that a few will stubbornly insist that he isn't good enough because they can't admit he's actually a brilliant actor. Robert will make a stunning Edward.

Well, I don't believe he's the best for Edward, but I like him a lot now, and I believe he's gonna do a great Edward. At first, I was a little shocked, but he seems pretty good right now. I think he's a really good actor, and he's going to make me like him a lot in Twilight movies.

When I heard he was going to be cast as Edward, I was like ... WHAT!!! He's absolutely perfect for the role, even though he was not completely the same as i had imagined.
He looks sweet, caring and loveable but can also look dangerous :D
He's a fantastic choice!

Rob plays all of his characters to the fullest i haven't seen a movie where he's horrible at the role. He plays Edward as well as he's written in the book & i honestly can't see anyone doing as well as he has thru out the movies he's the best :)
