in the book bella is moving in with her dad because her mother and her step father phill are going to florida to try out for a major lege baseball team.when she gets to her dad she is reuntied with a boy that she played with when she was a little girl named jacob black and his father billy balck.Bella shortly finds out that her father charlie swan(charlie is the chief of police) bought her a truck for her homecomming present.Bella has her first day of shcool in forks its the middle of the semester.When she first walks in the door in forks high school she has met the first student erick. he has a verry nice personalty.He is verry friendly and sweet he is trying to hard to impress bella swan...he wants to put her on the front page his worddds are ( ur news baby front page) bella does not want that thought she says please dont i- erick cuts her off.she goes into the cafiteria and she sits with to girls called angela and laura and then they are talking and then Bella notices there are 5 new people in the cafiteria and she askes angela and askes who they are she tells them they are the cullens, bella then goes into biocemistry aand she walks in and she gives the teacher the papars and she looks @ edward and she smailes and blushes the teacher gieds her over to the tabble were the hot edward cullen is sitting.He sitts there and stares at her does not say a word. when the class ends she leaves and goes home.Whern she goes home her father askes her about her first day bella tells charlie about the girls.Bella has met later on that night her mother Renee calles her on her cell phone and askews her about her fisrt day in forks high school.
