​Ed Sheeran might be an actual doctor now (yes really), but that hasn\'t stopped him being a WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING and popping over to a care home in his home town of Framlingham.​

Yup, he might have just casually popped home to Suffolk to receive an honorary doctorate from University Campus Suffolk, but he also made the time to open a suite at Mills Meadows care home that was named in his honour. What an angel.

Proving that he should probably have a halo and some fluffy pink wings by now, Ed cut the ribbon of the Sheeran Suite and accompanied his mother and father to the care home, speaking to patients and posing for photos. OH GAHD HE\'S SO AMAZING.

Ed was even given a Lego (\'Lego House\', innit) set and a £500 contribution to his charity of choice ​from the home\'s resident

Speaking about his guest appearance, Mills Meadow\'s home manager Sue Hill commented: "Ed is delightful, we are really grateful that he could spare the time in his busy schedule to pop in and meet us and see our wonderful new facilities here."

Resident Mary Swan also added: "It was a very exciting day and I enjoyed meeting Ed. I even got his autograph."

TWO WORDS. Mega. Babe. No, not Mary, Ed. But also Mary. Ahem.
