If Duncan just went up to Courtney and told her "I want to date other people," and THEN he went out with Gwen, I'd be less mad at him.

I like DxG, but I really think Duncan should have broken up with Courtney first. No one likes to be cheated on and it makes Duncan look like a real douche.

i think i would have still been extremely pissed off even if he did break up with her first but it pisses me off even more that he cheated on her i mean they could have stayed friends or something and hope they could get back together and we wouldnt think duncan was as much of a dick or an idiot but since he did we couldnt hate him anymore right now XD

I rather not DXC break up at all. Courtney should be good enough for Duncan. Yes if the break up was going to happened, I wouldn't want the cheating, but I'd rather have DXC together.

I really don't think Gwen completes Duncan like Courtney does. She just adds more of Duncan's crap. Courtney stables him. She is his other half.

I honestly don't get how Gwen adds on to "Duncan's crap"? What does that even mean? And how can Courtney stable him? He is his own person.....she only controls him. And if she is controlling him, then how are they equal halves?

You don't get it because your a DXG fan. And there opposites. Duncan has one side and Courtney has the other. When you put them together, they stay together. That's how they complete each other.

Courtney isn't a good girl. She comes off as one, but she has done some pretty bad things on the show (even when she wasn't with Duncan). And he isn't all bad boy. He has a soft side and it doesn't just come out around Gwen and Courtney.
And the love/hate thing really has nothing to do with opposites. It just is the "I love you one minute" and the next "I can't stand you". And punk and prep are different, I get it, but they aren't polar opposites. And in all retrospect, they have quite a few similarities which doesn't make them all that different.

It depends on how he breaks up with her. If it's rudely then no, I'd still be SU-PER mad. But if he did it nicely, then I wouldn't be as mad.

I would more than likely be less mad, but it'd still depend on....

A) How he breaks up with her- If he handles it in a sincere manner and keeps her feelings in mind, then I'd find that more respectable. But he treats her like crap and lets her fall, I'd still be cheesed off.

B) How long he waits to be with Gwen- I think a good way to have handled that is by waiting maybe a day or two before making a move. If he broke up with Courtney and was swapping spit with Gwen ten minutes later, I would mentally smack him upside the head.

C) How he treats Courtney afterward- If he treats Courtney with respect, diginity, and at least tries to be cordial and friends with her, I'd take the break-up much easier. But if he acts towards her in a rude, manipulative, back-stabbing, and selfish manner, I 'd throw my computer out the....!
................. Okay, I think you get that I'd still be mad. :/
