Days turned to weeks. 2 weeks had passed since I got to know Synthia. But I still knew that she didn't trust on me, that I wasn't gonna do bad to myself or to her. So I had to prove it. I woke up suddenly at the night. I needed fresh air, cause the air of the cave was stuffy. I noticed, that Synthia, who was fast asleep, had a key to the shackles, where I was bound. I raised quietly and slowly up, went in front of her and opened the locks. She didn't woke up, when I opened the locks. I put the shackles down and went to the mouth of the cave. I breathed deeply and laid down and watched the night sky. It was really beautiful. I stayed there really long.
Meanwhile Synthia woke up and saw, that the shackles, where I was supposed to be bounded, were in front of her nest and I was missing. She got worried immediately and ran to outside. But then she stop when she looked at the mouth of the cave.
Mike, she said. I turned my head and saw Synthia coming. Hey, I said. Don't worry, I just needed some fresh air. The air of the cave is kinda stuffy, I continued. Synthia was relieved, when she saw me okay. But why you didn't wake me up if you wanted to come here, she asked.
I said:"Because I didn't want to wake you up. You were fast asleep and I didn't want to bother you. And now I proved to you something. Can you figure it out what it is?"
She looked at me and thought, what it was. She couldn't figure out what I meant. I explained it to her. She now realized my point when I didn't wanted to woke her up. She came next to me and said: "You're right, Mike. You proved to me, that you really are worth to be trusted. And... Now that I think, I actually need as well some fresh air." -Would you like to join me then, I asked her. She consented and stayed next to me. Suddenly she started to lean on me and sighed with happy sound on it. I watched her, then to the sky, which was totally beautiful. The feel in my heart started to grow. I was completely loved on her. And I believed that she was also loved in me. We stayed at the mouth of the cave a while, until we returned inside to continue our sleep. But Synthia stopped me when I was going to put those shackles back on me. No, she said. Don't put them back... I believe now, that you're not going to do anything bad to me or yourself, she continued. I looked at her and let them be. She suggest that we should get rid off' em. I agreed with her. We went back to sleep. But before I went back to my own place, I gave Synthia the last kiss on her cheek. She blushed , me as well. She smiled and went on her nest to get some sleep. I went to my own place and fell asleep before I even noticed.

Wings beating,
Lungs heaving.
Black shadow
Torn from the sky.
Eyes glancing,
Alert and fierce.
Fire dancing.
Wheeling,
Circling.
Nightmare
Incarnate.
Fire dark as night,
Scales bright as gems.
Gleaming eyes,
Searching for a feast.
Wings furled.
Claws extended.
Dives down.
Death claims
Another victim.
Glides up.
Feasting begins.
The dragon flies off.
It is gone,
And the
Nightmare
Is done.
This poem tells of a dark dragon hunting. As the poem says, the dark dragons are everyone's worst fear. No one really knows what being this dragon killed. The dark dragons are known for their flame, which is black. Their eyes also have a more maniacal cast to them, as opposed to normal dragons.
