Sorry this is so short. I'll update soon!
It was the worst day of his life. Every mean comment pounded on him like a hammer, crushing him from the inside out.
Such a bad day, in fact, he wanted it to be his last.
He staggered into his apartment and slammed the door behind him. He ate one last bowl of his favorite cereal, played one last video game, and watched every copy of Harry Potter and Star Wars that he owned- Twice. He looked at a picture of him and the team, all of them smiling and having a good time, and he felt a lump form in his throat.
"Do you wake up in the morning and need help to lift your head?"
He dragged himself out of bed, barely coherent, and fell back onto the covers staring at the cieling. Will today be the day?
"Do you read obituaries and feel jealous of the dead?"
He slapped the newspaper down on the coffee table, afraid, and tormented by the lucky souls free to roam without burden. He put his forehead in his hands and sighed with the weight of the world crushing him, suffocating him.

Also, I started writing this before 'Rationalisation Man' and 'Rational Man' were mentioned. Also, I didn't want to copy the show completely, so I did not use 'The Boy Wonder Oncologist' in this fan fiction, which will become clear as you read the story.
Lastly, enjoy it and don't take it seriously!
Kutner is my favourite member of House's new team. So I have compiled a list of some of his funniest quotes so far. Unfortunately, much of the hilarity is in Kal Penn's delivery, so the written quotes aren't quite as funny as watching him give his lines.
House: I fired you.
Kutner: No, you didn’t
Amber: He fired you. You're number 6.
Kutner: No, I'm number 9.
House: I approve of your shamelessness. You're still fired.
[b]Dr. Lawrence Kutner (Kal Penn) is a sports medicine specialist. He was #6 during the games. He first got approval from House for successfully reviving a patient with a defibrillator while in a hyperbaric chamber, (setting her clothing on fire due to the high-oxygen atmosphere) showing he's willing to try risky techniques and isn't squeamish about saving a patient's life despite the risk of putting the patient in harm's way. Similarly, in "Mirror Mirror," he...
