Doris Day Tribute Site 

So happy to have found this site! I've loved Doris Day since I was a child, love all her films, her songs & her tv show was great family entertainment. Not only is this lady a great all round entertainer but her many, many years of devotion, love & care for animals makes her a 5 star human being.

I very much want to reach Doris Day. Before my father passed away last February I asked dad what music he would like for his funeral. He said he wasnt a musical man. One day at my home hundreds of miles away, I was humming Ka Sara Sara. My dad called me and said "you know, i like that song. Now how does it go, something about what will be will be"? I sang it to him over the phone and sang it to him 1 moth later on his death bed. He left in peace and and I live in peace. Doris, you may wonder how and why you became a hit and i know the answer; your spirit is strong and makes everyone around you feel joy. Gratefully yours; Melanie Hardt
