Dogs Question

My mom said female dog get their periods too, is it true cause I would see little drops of blood around the house.

I believe I read that somewhere too, they don't have it quite as heavy as humans I don't think but they do leak blood when in heat. Only if they aren't spayed though-a spayed female doesn't go into heat.

Dogs go into estrus when they get it and they don't let a male mount them unless they're ready. Best way is to spay your dog unless you're planing on breeding her.

Yes, you can find them in pet stores. When my dog had hers, we got it at Pets Mart. :)
