Yesterday I ordered The Ark in Space and season one of The Sarah Jane Adventures with my graduation money (and season one of Sherlock, but that's not really related to the Whoniverse). If I have more money after buying season two of Smallville and season one of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I'll be getting The Sontaran Experiment!

Just had the perfect Doctor Who moment. Watched the episodes of the Eleventh Doctor (MATT SMITH!!!) and had a cuppa' tea with Jammy Dodgers! First time I've ever had Jammy Dodgers! They are AMAZING!!! Once again, my mood refutes the power of my words...

Foods (or strange combinations) I learned were actually a things from Doctor Who that I need to try as soon as possible: jelly babies, fish fingers and custard, and Jammie Dodgers.over a year ago
I LUV DOCTOR WHO, I find it's more then a show. If u've watched the confidentials they explain the back story and why it's so important. GO THE DOCTOR!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the caps-lock explosion, and this is the last time I'll do this in a while, but: MATT SMITH IS DOING THE OLYMPIC TORCH RELAY. Wrong Doctor, and it's in Cardiff instead of London, but you can't have everything...

I'm a huge Doctor Who fan and i'm all about the twists and turns in every episode. But i do not take too kindly to spoilers and leaks about plot points.I like to be surprised

People should at least add a spoiler alert before they say something, like "spoiler" in parenthesis or something. The fans need to listen to River!over a year ago
THANK YOU!!! I am exactly the same way with Sherlock! Whenever there were pictures or anything posted for the second season, I had to like blank it from my mind entirely! Do you have any idea how hard that was?! Just like how Sherlock deleted any unecessary information.over a year ago
Matt and Karen keep saying how awesome Amy's final episodes are. It really pisses me off that they probably won't air for another six months.

Yeah. I thought I could never get over the wait for Sherlock Season Two to air in America. So I made a whole countdown and it made the wait so much easier to deal with. Plus Matt Smith is worth it. Trust me. I'm The Doctor. (;over a year ago
He / she is so funny! The whole concept of New Earth is a cool idea...but why do all of the people on it (well, not original people) wear clothes from the 2000s?over a year ago
JAMMY DODGERS!!! Anybody want some REALLY bad, but wondering where in the universe you find them? Have no fear, cos' The Doctor's here. Don't have to go into the far reaches of the galaxy. You can find them in England, or if you live in America, in Ohio; you can go to Jungle Jim's in the Great Britain section and they're there. Get me some!

Indeed. It is good she got to be Sarah Jane one last time before her death. We will grieve her loss. I'm pretty sure the Tardis will be flooded with it's own tears.over a year ago

i heard hugh laurie will play the doctor..havent quite done my research yet. but i hope that he does i love his acting but no one can beat david tennant lolover a year ago
Happy birthday to one of the most brilliant actors to have played the Doctor: David Tennant!
Fun fact: Did you know that David decided he wanted to be an actor when he was only three years old, after watching Doctor Who during the Tom Baker years? His favorite Doctor is the Fifth Doctor, whom he has appeared in Time Crash with, the Children In Need special. Now, Peter Davison is his father-in-law, as he is married to Georgia Moffett (Jenny from The Doctor's Daughter), Davison's daughter.

She did! I saw this text post on Tumblr that said "If you had came to me during series 4 and told me that Alex Kingston's character in Silence In the Library was the extra from The Fires of Pompeii's daughter, I would have told you that you needed medication!".over a year ago
I just watched the 11th Doctor episode titles "Christmas Carol" and now Matt Smith's Doctor is definately one of my favorites!!
(Althou I still don't like his sense of fashion but still xD)

I can't belive my own luck!
They show 10 episodes of Classic Doctor Who every Saturday here and I got to see ALL the parts of "The Five Doctors" I have been trying to see that for about a year since I became a fan of the series!

Becoming a fan for the first time - it just seems like there is too much to watch in a lifetime - I now own 16 classic stories, but there is still so much I haven't seenover a year ago
I became one overnight as well. I watched it for the first time ever at my aunt's house on Christmas, and started buying the DVDs a few days later.over a year ago
I didn't think anything could possibly be better than Doctor Who's first two seasons. Season 4 proved me wrong. I didn't think there was any topping Rose Tyler as a companion. Donna Noble proved me wrong. Unfortunately, it'll probably be difficult for me to continue watching this show without David Tennant.

It might be difficult for a while, I know it was for me. Even now, I still miss Tennant, but Matt Smith is a good doctor too. And if you give him a change he might surprise you.over a year ago
That was the first episode I've showed my mom...she was so confused! I should have showed her Rose or The Eleventh Hour, but The Waters of Nars was the only one we had on DVD at the time. :Pover a year ago
The new companion is going to be awesome.I cannot wait to see her episodes..but in the meantime be very sad that Rory and Amy will be going away.Bring lots of tissue paper for that episode.
Posted over a year ago
I have mixed emotions about the new companion, probably because I'm so attached to Amy and Rory. :3 I watched all the previous series on the Internet after they had already been aired, but the only trio I was actually FOLLOWING was The Doctor/Amy/Rory, so I'm sad to see them go. ): But it's always a treat to see a new companion.
Speaking of which. Has anyone seen the Series7 preview that BBC put up today? Or yesterday? :O

Same, though I was sort of expecting to see some of the good ol' villains: Daleks, Weeping Angels, Cybermen. But I'm sure we'll come across them during the actual series.over a year ago
“It’s not often the Doctor meets someone who can talk even faster than he does, but it’s about to happen. Jenna is going to lead him his merriest dance yet. And that’s all you’re getting for now. Who she’s playing, how the Doctor meets her, and even where he finds her, are all part of one of the biggest mysteries the Time Lord ever encounters. Even by the Doctor’s standards, this isn’t your usual boy meets girl.”

Just saw the new Dr. Who, first episode. Never though I'd like anyone as well as Tom Baker, but this one and Rose just may grow on me fast.

I generally enjoy episodes better the second time; you can appreciate it for what it is rather than just wondering what happens next. Also, the second time you will never be disapointed.over a year ago
i've made a new club called Wholock for people who love sherlock and doctor who mixed together so please we need as many people to join as possible. xxx

I absolutely loved Catherine Tate in it! I wish they'd bring her back somehow, she was hilarious, the main reason I watch it tbh.

I just purchased a load of classic doctor who dvds from the 1st doctor to the 6th, and I am watching them through in order - Have watched Unearthly child, The Daleks and The Edge of Destruction and am now watching Doctor Who and the Silurians. The ingeniuty of the classic episodes even with a low budget and without the good special effects never fails to impress me.

I'm watching Doctor Who and the Silurians, I wanted to start the old series with the 3rd Doctor. I tried with the 1st and it bored me D:over a year ago
The Sarah Jane Smith club really needs a new banner! We could create a pick with banners created by users, and then contact Fanpop to change the current banner to the winner's design, what do you guys (and girls) think? I made a banner that I posted in the fan art section of the club that could go on the pick once we have enough entries... :P

You might not like Matt Smith, but stating that he isn't good is unfair. He is different but a lot of people gave him a proper chance and found him lovely too.I love Tennant, and he will always be my Doctor but people denigrating Smith can be infuriating. I'm not saying you have to like him. But if you don't, say exactly what it is you don't like instead of using an absolute statement. It's more respectful for Smith and his fans.over a year ago
Really? Matt Smith is leaving? Since when? And Solo 1861, you have a very good point, but that's just my opinion. I wasn't saying he was a bad actor, sorry for any misunderstandingover a year ago
Just go around, comment when you like something, add people when you like what they write...And they will start adding you. You might want to use proper spelling too. It's easier to respond if you don't have to read twice to understand.over a year ago
Oh my gosh, they always scream! It's really sort of annoying... Susan (the Doctor's grand-daughter) was the worst -.- Sarah Jane is like the only non-screamer. Even from the new series, Rose, Martha, Donna and Amy are like, "Doctor! Save meeee :("over a year ago
i've made an eleven and sherlock spot for those people who like them to meet or for the few who want them to fall in love so please join and add to it as mch as you can xxx

Hi, forme the best way to start is by watching the new show: serie 1 to 6. And if you like it, check out the old ones. So you can start by serie 1 with Eccleston as the Doctor, then serie 2 to 4 with Tennant as the Doctor and finally season 5 & 6 with Smith as the Doctor. And don't forget to check out the Christmas specials (episodes in between season) and season 4 specials.over a year ago
