David Tennant was one of the two doctors I liked ,the other was number nine Christopher Eccleston! I really miss David Tennant ,and I have only watched half of an episode with Matt Smith Because it was not the same-I think it should have ended with nuber ten-then he can appear in torchwood and the adventures of Sarah-Jane Smith!

Actually, I do know what to say... When Matt first took over i said to a fair few people that he had some big shoes to fill. I was doubtful as David is a great actor. Matt blew me away, and though i think David was great playing the Doctor, Matt has done a brilliant job. Matt in my books is now my favourite and the best (for now).
I know a lot of people that stopped watching just because David left, which i find ridiculous. One day Matt will leave but it won't stop me watching the show! I guess some people are fans of the actor rather than the show.

i dunno, just gotta love david as you put it! but i still believe matt is AMAZING! And you should have added christopher in here(although he wouldnt be my fav, he holds a special place in my heart for him being my first doctor)

I was cautious going into Smith's first episode, and was sad that Tennant wasn't around anymore. He was MY Doctor. But Smith infused the character with something so new yet so very similar somehow, and I just love how much of a dork he is. Eccleston was my first, Tennant was my favorite, but I think that Smith has taken that spot.

I was so resentful toward matt the first time i saw him because david was everything the doctor should be and more, I thought matt wouldn't have the aptitude to be him but i warmed to him in the eleventh hour. I NEVER thought I'd even consider someone who isn't tennant to be my doctor but matt is just adorable, i love his take on the doctor, he has this brilliant subtlety but I'll always think of tennant as my doctor too! They're both my doctor.

Well to be honest I think David was THE BEST normally because he was sooo EPIC I mean look at his last episode he jumped off a fucking spaceship!!! Not only that but he fought The Master!!! I know Matt smith was pretty "Cool" (Get it?) but for me I think he was kinda childish for a role of a 900 year old Time-Lord... Damn I was litterally SOBBING... Tennant will always be MY DOCTOR but all good things must come to an end... ever since I found out Tennant was in a movie I'd fucking watch it! No offence to the 11th fans but i just really love THE10th Doctor.

Form the acting point of view its tennant all over. His expressions and the way he potrayed the doctor was something which matt smith came very close to but will never reach. He will always be my doctor(though 9 was my first) because he was the one who hooked me on to doctor who like the other two never could. DW suffered a great loss when he stepped down and matt smith did his best to step into his infinitely large shoes.

David Tennant was far more clever (and nuts) as the Doctor. Matt Smith is okay for me. Somewhat blah compared to Tennant but still very good. The 10th Doctor accomplished so much as well and each episode that had him was never boring. David Tennant's acting was amazing and was the main reason why I got hooked. (P.S Don't like the Doctor because of his looks. The show, no matter who portrays the Doctor, is amazing nevertheless.)
