If the only water in the forest is the River, then where's the Pond at?! is a horrible thing to pick, the River is obviously River Song/Dr River song. Since the river is River song THERE IS NO POND ON HER OR ANY HUMAN BEING. And so my choice is to pick "Definitely about River Song. Um, duh."

What forest?! Are you serious - THE FOREST OF THE DEAD, the first appearance of Professor RIVER Song, or should I say the last since she actually dies in that episode, well physically, but the memories lives on IN the library in the virtual world created by CAL, but it is this episode and it's predecessor that the Doctor (10th) first meets her from his perspective......hmmmm.....

I think this is definitely referring to River song, if it was just a normal river then the quote would be more like, "The only water in the forest is the river" or "...a river" but it isn't so it sounds more like a name. Well, the forest is most probably meaning the 'forest of the dead'. I know there is this big rumour going around that River Song is Amy's daughter (and the little girl 'jefferson' (A name, like River's, that isn't really a name) is actually River but a younger version of herself). I think that this may be true. In 'The forest of the dead' River wears an astronaut suit similar to the one that the little girl is wearing in 'the day of the moon'. Also in 'the day of the moon' there is a picture of Amy holding the little girl in the girls room, as well as that creepy hatch lady that keeps popping up(maybe she is some sort of nurse?) And not forgetting the scan the doctor keeps doing on Amy that switches between 'positive' and 'negative' well I think that is something to do with Amy's pregnancy being 'unusual' as the girl/river is obviously not normal (she regenerated and is very strong) not sure about the dad though, it would seem that Amy cheated on Rory if this girl is some sort of 'time lady', otherwise, it could be an effect of Amy spending so much time with the doctor/in the tardis. Anyway the water would be referring to river, but also could refer to 'Pond' as in Amy's surname. I've seen a clip online of some filming of doctor who in episode 13 that is set in a forest with Amy and River link . I think that the quote is something to do with that. There have also been many 'hints' that River is Amy's daughter throughout past episodes such as in last nights episode Amy was telling the doctor not to be so emotional and to concentrate, in the 'forest of the dead' this was said -
' River: Listen to me, you've lost your friend—you're angry, I understand. But you need to be less emotional, Doctor. Right now—
The Doctor: Less emotion— I'm not emotional!
River: There are five people in this room still alive. Focus on that. Dear god, you're hard work young.'
This may might just be a coincidence but still...
Anyway, I think if this is all true, it will come out around episode 13 (which is the last episode) and we'll probs all get left on one of those cliff-hangers.

I've learnt not to follow things like this with Moffat, they are normally completely wrong or something so confusing it turns your mind to mush but they are never what we think, it's the unwritten law of Moffat

Of course it's River.
When all is said and done, River is Amy's daughter (the girl who regenerated at the end of "Day of the Moon", and the Doctor will return to the Library to take her out of the computer and give her a new body.
