Who is your favourite character in Doctor Who and why?

Is it boring to say 'the doctor'? Well anyway, he is the best by far ;) He is always so quirky and unpredictable, he has a great sense of humour and you always love him (no matter which actor is playing him) Do I need to say anymore? :p

I think River Song is my favorite because she is the Doctor's wife (spoilers) and she traveled with him. She can stand up for herself, and she's got AWESOME hair!!!

aight but for this my fav is martha
martha was pretty much under appreciated because she apparently replace rose place. she stick with the doctor because she knows that the doctor needs a companion maybe not someone to flirt or admit your love for but someone to be with. she proves her bravery and wits by protecting him when he was human walking the earth for a year nobody even know about and probs basically every episode. but the doctor overlook that because he still is heartbroken by rose and thats the most gut wrenching thing about the story of martha. the most awesome thing about her is that she knew when to get out before putting herself in farther trouble she suffered the most out of all the companions so thats the ending she deserves not a forced one but an ending that got her happy the most by her own choice because she is just awesome like that even the doctor realizes that like i dont understand all those martha haters out there shes done very good and the doctor prefers her better than you.

My Favorite has to be Amy Pond! The fact she is the "girl who waited" it's just incredible after all them years she still believed her raggedy Doctor would come back for :)

My fav is oswin!! she is sexy XD and osm in her own terms u know wht i mean?

My favorite is Donna because she is so ordinary but amazing at the same time*. Ms. Tate is a phenomenal actress and she did nothing less then pour her soul into that character.

Funny thing is I absolutely hated her when she first appeared in the Runaway Bride I thought she was obnoxious. Boy did she turn me around.

* Rory is my second fav for the same reason.

My favourite character is Rory.
He's just so sweet and devoted to Amy, even though she doesn't exactly treat him as well as she should, and I feel he's such a real character with feelings and flaws. He also goes through such great character development; from the incompetent nurse in 'The Eleventh Hour' to a fully brilliant hero in 'The Angels Take Manhattan'. He even waited 2,000 years for Amy; if you ask me, he's the one who waited, not Amy.

I actually liked Rose (played by Billie Piper) but then now that I think of it, I really like Jack. <3 :)

I like Donna the best. She was the funniest....and it´s so sad, that she can´t remember the Doctor and her adventures!

i really like Sarah Jane Smith, i love how she was a old companion then she came back! i love her personality, shes Brave, shes courageous, shes confident.
on a video made by David Tennant he said she was his favorite companion from the classic doctor who series, and working with her was like a dream come true.
me and my best friend were heart broken when we heard she died in 2011.
she just seems like a amazing women and she was a amazing companion.
