Which episode(s) made you cry?

Not really a cryer but Vincent and the Doctor gave me a lump in the throat along with The Doctors Wife.

On first viewing I cried at:
- Dooms Day, not at the very end but that scene where they're standing in the exact same place but worlds apart knowing they will never be this close again. Powerful scene.
- Blink.
- Last of the Time Lords, when the Master dies.
- Journeys End, totally agree with what others have said Ms. Tate was brillent in that episode.
- Cold Blood, bawled my eyes out even though as soon as I stopped it was obvious Rory was coming back. Still I have never cried so hard while watching doctor who with other people it was frankly embarrassing.
- Vincent and the Doctor.
- The Girl who Waited, every single time. This episode just chews me up and spits me out.

I also tend to rewatch Doctor who when I am emotionally venerable. So at diffent stages of my life I have cried during:
- Fathers Day
- The Girl in the Fireplace
- Gridlock, I can't get though all those lost souls singing that song without getting a little emotional.
- The Lazarus Experiment
- The Family of Blood
- Voyage of the Damned
- The Fires of Pompeii
- Planet of the Odd
- The Doctors Daughter
- Silence in the Library (both parts) although it's not really river sacrifice that gets me it's that scene where Donna tells her children that "that mummy promices to never ever close her eyes again" and as soon as she says it they disappear. That scene is traumatizing. Rivers scene is amazing too but I'm already so shattered from Donna's scene that it just doesn't feel as powerful.

"end of time part 2 the last scene" and when i heard the music and the doctor going to the tardis i really shed a tear here the song.

I cried when Lucy {that useless ****} shot The Master and The Doctor held him as he died in The Sound of Drums.

I think, Father's Day, episode eight season one, made me cry. I found it really sad.

Only "The Doctor's Wife." Although I got a little moist around the eyelids at the end of "Logopolis."

Also I bawled at Journey's End, but it was more like the "HOW COULD THIS BE SO STUPID????" kind of tears. :3

Journey's End, when the Doctor had to take Donna's memories. That is literally the saddest moment in tv history for me. Also in the end of Vincent and the Doctor, but that was more like happy tears .

I cry so much! :c

I cried when the 10th Doctor didn't recognize River, in "Silence in the library" and when she died in the following episode. I didn't watch the series in the right order: I saw the series with Matt Smith first and then looked all the other episodes so I knew exactly who she was... ='(
Oh, and I cried when Idris died and the Doctor said something along the lines of "can't you keep talking to me?" It made me so sad that they can't talk anymore...!

The Episodes that made me cry were:

What made me cry is when the doctor dies in" Day of the Moon ".

At the "eleventh hour" the part when little Amelia sits and waits for the Doctor, I don't know why. But at a second viewing

Doctor Who is one of the best tv show for so many reason but one of them is that it's a mooving one .

Journey's end : We say a real '' goodbye '' to every companion we used to know , and when The Doctor has to erase Donna's memory, one of the sadest moment ever =(

The End Of Time : OMG seriously , i had never watched a x-mas speciale so sad . '' I don't wanna go ''

Vincent And The Doctor : soo mooving and wonderful, definitly one of the best episode . It's a so mooving episode that I was crying with Vincent at the end of the episode ^^

I think when the master dies and the doctor is really really upset and probably angry at the same time.

I'm not so much of the emotional type, but I was sobbing so bad while watching Journey's End. Catherine Tate's acting was flawless and she broke my heart, I was literally crying my eyes out. Vincent and the Doctor was so much realistic that it was difficult not to give in to tears. And for my shipper heart, I'd also say Forest of the Dead. River's speech was so, so beautiful for words, it made me ship Doctor/River immediately. The entire scene was deeply moving.

I cry at so many random episodes, I can't even keep track. But I just watched Forest of the Dead, the ending made my freakin bawl. I started crying when he realized why she would know his name, but I turned into a baby when she was saved. Oh and when her crew walked out... Tear city here

so many lol. im weak: Father's Day, Parting of ways, girl in the fireplace (little bit), the satan pit, Doomsday, 42, family blood, last of the timelords, doctor's daughter,turn left(little bit), the next doctor, pandorica opens, big bang, season six was so confusing and timey-wimey i dont even know which ones.

The Christmas Specials, and the The angels take Manhattan.

Journeys end and angels take Manhattan. I was sobbing....and I never cry during TV shows!

First of all : End of Time part 2 saddest moments of my entire life. :(
Then Doomsday, Journey's End, Doctor's Daughter, Doctor's Wife, Angels in Manhattan.

Watching the complete anguish of Rose and the Doctor in Doomsday was gut-wrenching. No matter how many times I see it I cry for them.

When Doctor-Donna starts to stutter and we see the recognition on her face - knowingwhat must then happen, was heart-breaking. To have saved the universe and then have to give-up those memories was so unfair. Though when the Doctor tells her mother to treat her with the respect she deserves I feel a small thrill of victory for her.

When Vincent is taken to the art museum and hears the expert speak about his work I always cry. No sooner than I've dried my tears and I'm crying again. No. New. Paintings. Saddest words in the world.

I cried a lot when I saw The Angels take Manhattan!!!!(I was sooooo depressed after watching this episode!!!!). For me, is the saddest episode of Doctor Who.

In a bit of recent activity, I cried during The Rings of Akhaten, when the Doctor made his big speech...it was so powerful.

The Beast Below - I cried for Amelia because of how angry The Doctor got at her, it hurt my feelings for her.

I think that age if steel was pretty sad but I am only halfway through season 2 (I watch on Netflix) so... The part of them feeling their bodies or brain in the robot suits was a horrible thought.

Only one DW episode ever made me cry - "Angel on Manhattan". Not becasue I was really sad, but I was deeply touched by the streght of Ponds love - that's exactely what's marriage all about!
"Doomsday" & "Journey's end" were for me saddest episodes, but didn't made me cry though.

All of the one's you mentioned had some affect. Except the "Beast Below." "The End of Time" was so sad I never watched it since. "Parting of Ways" was more beautiful than really sad though.

"Doomsday" The scene where their touching eachother's hand on that tiny gap on the void and their treasuring thier last second. I cry everytime I watch it. And "Last of The Time Lords" When everybody starts chanting the Doctor's name and he starts turning back to his old self that makes me cheer and cry at the same time.

Most of the season finales get me teary; I cried at Doomsday, shed a tear at The Sound of Drums, and my face was stiff at Journey's End.

Otherwise, The Doctor's Daughter was emotional, The Doctor's Wife, of course - "I just wanted to say... hello. Hello, Doctor. It's so very nice to meet you." I mean, come on! - Vincent and the Doctor, Angels Take Manhattan and most recently, The Name of the Doctor, I was sad to see River go.

I cried in the episode doomsday. It was heart breaking!!!! ): I also cried In the end of time and journeys end. Even though I know what's going to happen when I re watch these episodes it just makes me cry even harder!!!! Even though these episodes made me cry they are three of my favorites(:

I cry in just about every episode. I loved when riversong tells the dr that to kill him would cause her more pain than in the entire universe. Goodbye eyemakeup!

Was I the only one to cry at the end of new earth?

The End of Time Part Two episode where The Doctor goes and see's the most important people from his current incarnation. I can't help but to get completely choked up when he meets Verity Newman, the grand daughter of Joan Redfern (The Family of Blood-2007). She instantly new it was her grandmother's The Doctor. It's the best writing I've ever come across... Russell T. Davies is a true master of the art. Even now, the tears flow... Brilliant beyond brilliant.

"Journey's End", "Angels Take Manhattan", "The Girl In the Fireplace", "Doomsday", and "The End of Time (Part 2)".

Nobody chose the Cybermen episode (I forgot the name)when Rose went bye-bye for a while? That made me cry so much.... :( I

Journey's End made me cry... I loved Donna, and the part that made me cry was when she said "I was going to travel with you forever." It's bittersweet at the end when the Doctor says he's leaving, and Donna says "See you." It broke my heart that she didn't remember anything, like all the things she accomplished and her travels with the Doctor. I also teared up during Fathers Day, it was just so sad...it made me appreciate my dad more.

I'd have to say doomsday, that was the first episode to make me cry and then there's forest of the dead

- Doomsday - The scene where they're in the same place, but so far away. That was definitely tear-jerking.
- The Girl Who Waited - Every time, the scene where old Amy is left behind gets me.
- Journey's End - When Donna has her memory wiped.
- The Waters of Mars - When the one girl is trapped in the room, moments before becoming a zombie, and she sees the video of her sister. Also the ending, where Adelaide has to kill herself, to keep a balance.
- Midnight - When the people became so inhuman, it really got to me.
- Angels Take Manhattan - Rory and Amy's departure of course.
- Father's Day - Rose's goodbye scene with her father.

There have been others that made me teary eyed, but these were the worst.

The episode with "Vincent and The Doctor" always makes me cry but not as much as when Rose leaves in "Doomsday"

Obviously, Doomsday but Turn Left is underrated as a Dr lite episode. Its very sad when they cart of the families to labour camps. Also, The Girl Who Waited is very sad when old Amy has to die.

To me that one was really sad.

The episode that made me cry ALL the tears that I could shed during my whole life: "The End Of Time, part 2"
After seeing Rose, the Doctor was in the TARDIS crying like: "I don't wanna go" and I was like: "I'm sorry, Doctor, I'm so sorry"
(I'm crying while I type this, really)
Well, I was crying since when the episode begun, so when it came to it's end, I cried so damn much....I was sad because of the Doctor, but I was happy, because...I love the 11th Doctor so much.....anyways, I cried, and I'm still crying :D

I lost it on The End of Time, Angels take Manhattan, and many others I got close to tears.

Vincent and the Doctor. Felt sorry for Vincent (children throwing stones at him, people treated him as an outcast) and the beast for being left behind and blind without anyone to care for it. Especially when the doctor said it said it was afraid. :-(

The episodes from Doctor Who that made me cry were Doomsday ( who wouldn't!), The Doctor's Daughter ( She died and then came back to life after he left!), The impossible astronaut ( When he died) and the Angels take Manhattan ( anyone who didn't cry isn't human!). Those are the episodes that made me cry.

The only one that made me cry was doomsday, I was only 5/6 at the time though and I was a huge fan of Rose! But no I dislike Rose, so I can watch it without crying!

I cried watching the doomsday episode rose came back to him and she still ended up away from him. i was even more sad when he didn't get to finish telling that he loved her too. :(

My heart broke at the angels take manhatten!

While many moments on Doctor have been extremely emotional, none have been more so than Earthshock during the Peter Davidson era. The death of companion Adric was completely unexpected and devastating. The credits only accentuated the shock by replacing the usual Doctor Who theme with total silence and starkly showing an image of Adric's badge broken. While others have left with a tear none more so than Earthshock.

Um, all of them. Duh.

I just watched "A Christmas Carol" for the second time and I cried like a baby. Twice.

So far Father's Day and Doomsday. I'm pretty far behind so Doomsday is the last episode I watched.

Family Of Blood- John Smith having to decide whether to kill himself to save everyone or live with the woman he loves is very sad.

Pretty much the end of EVERY. SINGLE. FREAKING. SEASON. Seriously, end of season 1, he regenerates. End of season 2, Rose leaves him. End Of Season 3, Martha leaves him. End of season 4, Donna leaves him, and DOESN'T EVEN REMEMBER HIM, so that's like, even worse than usual, but then the season continues, and it's revealed that he doesn't even want a companion anymore because after getting his heart broken time after time after time, he's too scared of losing them again. But that's not enough, nooo, then the reason he regenates is because Donna's stupid grandpa just HAD to go and lock himself in a glass chamber-y thing, so the doctor is to kind and generous to leave him there, so he replaced him, and as hit with INSANE amounts of radiation, which started the regeneration process, and not to mention the fact that Rose left him AGAIN to be with another man. Except wait, the other man, it was HIM, or rather the human version of him. That has to suck, watching the girl you love leave you to be with yourself. And don't even get me started on any of the finales with Matt Smith or Peter Capaldi. Those ones are so bad, I can't even. I'm not saying they were neccesarily worse, but ohh, they were depressing.

I don,t cry often but I found my self shedding tears in Vincent and the doctor and also I cried in The angels take Manhattan the doctor cried when Amelia looked away from the doctor and was taken by the weeping angel so sad.

The only episode that really pulled at my heart strings was Love and Monsters

First of all, i'm an emotionally unavailable man, but three episodes makes me sad:
1. Journey's End - sad, very sad; lump in my throat
2. Doomsday - very, very sad; huge lump in my throt
3. End of Time Part 2 - last minutes before regeneration - saddest moment of all episodes. "I dont want to go!" - Everytime it makes me cry :(
Mr. Tennant in The Doctor's role was absolutely brilliant.

It was Doomsday for me because i bawled and i couldn't stop!!

Two such episodes where I bawled like a baby are "Father's Day" - the first ever Doctor Who episode I actually cried at - and "The Girl Who Waited" - another very sad episode, especially with how it ended. :'(
