When I started this article series, I had to make a decision. Officially, nearly all Disney movies are based on some sort of source text. In reality, it is often something really obscure and practically forgotten. So I made a decision early on: That I would only discuss the books, which are known enough to have an own Wikipedia article. This distinction served me fairly well, with one exception and this is The Fox and the Hound. When this book was published, it was highly praised, and therefore it does have an article. But nowadays it is so hard to come by that you have to pay a three digits...

I should have expected that this one would be one of the first requests. To say it upfront: Between Victor Hugo’s two “big” novels, I tend to gravitate more towards Les Misérables, mainly because Notre Dame de Paris is so downright depressive. Oh, both books delve deep into the social injustices of their time and the darkness of the human soul. But I think that Les Misérables is the more sophisticated take of those two, much clearer in the message it is trying to tell with much more relatable characters in it.
Notre Dame de Paris is from a literature historic angle the more important...

Best Voiceover Ever!
Best Voiceover Ever!
As you know, John Sachs is my favourite classic voiceover and he narrated all the Walt Disney Home Video previews. John Sachs (born 1957) is a British television presenter, voiceover and commentator known for his narration on the original series of Gladiators and as a long time DJ on London's 95.8 CapitalFM.

Sachs has been involved in the entertainment industry for the past 25 years. He has been a radio and television broadcaster for 17 years with 12 of those years spent on Capital FM, where he won numerous awards, namely Variety Club ILR Presenter of the years and Silver at the World Radio...

One night, in new york, there was a husband and a wife with a baby. They were walking when suddenly a gun shot came. It was an evil cowboy called Texas Pete and his very cowardly, outrageously camp henchman, Skeleton. “What are you doing here?” Shouted a husband. “Get away from us!” Shouted a wife. “Let the baby go!” Shouted Tex. “Or I shall kill you both!” “Never!” Shouted a husband and a wife. “Go get them, Tex!” Shouted Skeleton evilly. Texas Pete and Skeleton chased after a husband and a wife. “Help us, Police!” They cried. But it was too late. Texas Pete was...

Pocahontas
Pocahontas
11. Pocahontas: The lovely Pocahontas. I'm going to be honest when I say that I actually think she would have been higher on the list if in wasn't for the fact that I couldn't find a good picture of her. Anyway the lovely native american princess Pocahontas.

10. Tiana: She is very lovely indeed with pretty black hair and rosy red lips I mean shes even cute as a frog just barley makes 8 because I had to think for a long time as to who is prettier Tiana or Pocahontas. Well congratulations Tiana for beating out a sexy Native American.

9. Cinderella: The second Disney princess and the first Disney...

Ch. 9— The Car of Disguise

Scamp and the puppy with the patch happily giggled before Scamp turned to ask them a question.
“My name’s Scamp, and she’s Angel. Do you know where we are?” Scamp asked.
“No,” the puppy on the left stated. “We’re on a foreign trip, but well… can you keep a secret?”
“I promise,” Scamp told them. Angel looked at him worriedly, remembering the last time Scamp promised to keep a secret.
“Well, we’re running away,” the puppy...

Chapter 5- Runaway of the Lovers

Lady was distraught as she sat with Tramp on her front steps. Once again, the loss of her son hurt her dearly, and so did the loss of his girlfriend. After alerting Jim Dear and Darling hurriedly with barks, the two of them were shocked to see the absence of their rebellious puppies.
“Oh, Jim Dear, Scamp and Angel are gone!” Darling declared with a still serene, but sad voice.
“I cannot believe what’s happening to us,” Jim Dear stated sadly.
“Nor can I,” Lady told Tramp as Jim Dear and Darling went inside. “Why couldn’t you come clean of your...

Ursula (1989)
Ursula (1989)
When Ursula first appears in the film, she states through monologue that she once lived in the royal palace of King Triton, the king of the underwater city of Atlantica. She was banished from Atlantica and made her home in the remains of a leviathan where she waits the chance to get her revenge on Triton and become Queen of Atlantica.

The entrance to Ursula's leviathan home is lined with a garden of writhing polyps which were merfolk who had been previously gone to Ursula for help, but found themselves unable to fulfill their side of the bargain, leading Ursula to claim them as her own and...

This is like really weird...that you watch these shows on TV and then your whole childhood changes when you hear the real story.....

Chucky died a long time ago along with this mother, that's why Chaz is a nervous wreck all the time.

Tommy was a stillborn, that's why Stu is constantly in the basement making toys for the son who never had a chance to live.

The DeVilles had an abortion, Angelica couldn't figure whether it would be a boy or a girl thus creating the twins

As for "All Grown Up" Angelica was a bipolar schizophrenic who, as a teenager became addicted...

Hi guys. Lisa here and I have decided to do a list of princesses that I like and why I like them. Here it goes.

#1 Ariel: First up is Ariel because I adored her since I was 7 years old. I like how she sacrifices her life to be with the man she loves.

#2 Belle: In at the number #2 spot and its Belle. I like how she is the odd one out and how she treats the Beast like a real person and she doesn’t care what other people think. I love her style and she is a great role model.

#3 Giselle: Ok in at no #3 and its Giselle because I like her innocence and her childish ways. I absolutely adored the actress...

FullMoonFever ask me to make another list so here it is, My ten favorite Disney Movies.

Just remember this is my list and its based on my opinions of Disney films.
Only tenth? I must work even harder then,
Only tenth? I must work even harder then,

10th Place is The Princess and the Frog.
This is a very good, magical and to me inspirational movie.
The reason its so low on the list is that it didn´t give me the same feeling as TLM, Batb or Aladdin did.
But even so the plot is great, the villain is awesome and the main characters are lovable.
This wasn´t worth my voice...

Number 9th is The Little Mermaid.

*Stop Before Reading*

I have decided to make a last-minute change to the end of Chapter 27. I modified the last few sentences of the chapter (where I put the asterisk), as I changed the story. This chapter, especially the beginning, will not make sense unless you read the final few sentences of the previous chapter. So here's the link to the previous chapter. Only the last three lines have changed.
