This is an article about a Swedish voice actor that have done the voices of a number of Disney characters in Sweden.

This is a tribute to him since he died of pneumonia in 2008 and i think that he deserves this article.

His acting career started when he was fourteen years old in 1940 when he joined a theatre in Norrköping.
He was the father of famous Swedish actor and television host Peter Harryson who played the part of Phil in Disney´s Hercules.

His voice is really special since it worked for so many different types of characters, he could sound very kind and caring and at the same time he could sound very sarcastic and angry.

The younger audience in Sweden know him best as a number of Disney characters.

His most famous role is that of Scrooge McDuck in Ducktales,House of Mouse and a few movies.


Scrooge McDuck or Joakim von Anka as he is know in Sweden is in my opinion just as good or even better than the original english voice and he really did a great job with it.

The other voices he did include Geppetto in the redub of Pinocchio in 1995 or Eeyore in Winnie-the-Pooh.
