Disney Article: Brother Bear review

I saw the sequel to this ages ago and I thought it was ok. I never saw the original version which starred Joaquin Phoenix as the voice of Kenai. It was on Disney Cinemagic last night and I decided to watch it . The movie tells the story of a hunter who kills a bear in revenge for his brother Sycat who was killed by a bear. For punishment he gets transformed into a bear by the spirits. As he is turned into a bear he meets a young bear named Koda who’s mother abandoned him(little does he realise that it was Kenai who killed his mother)and the two become friends. Songs by the brilliant Phil Collins who previously did the music for Tarzan back in 1999 for Walt Disney, and nice colourful animation Brother Bear is a cute movie with a great tagline, A boy who became a bear.

A Disney Tale: A young princess narrowly avoids death on the command of her evil stepmother. She shacks up with a group of mining dwarves but the stepmother finds her and puts her to sleep with a poisoned apple.
