Everyone knows that " The Lion King" and " Beauty and the Beast" are their two most successful shows, but does that mean that they have to toss aside the others? I think once you have invested in something you should realize that there might be people that are still interested in seeing the show or that did not get the chance to see it in the first place. "Mary Poppins" was Great , and I would consider "The Little Mermaid" Great too, as would alot of people, but for some reason - Disney is shunning Mermaid. Alot of us didn't get the chance to see it - I am one. I live a long way from NY, and when you close a show to say you are going to put it on tour that is what you should do. It is still a much loved show and I think it would do well on tour in the states. I certainly hope its not the Europe version cause honestly no kid would watch that, I wouldnt watch that-it looks ugly and not much fun. We created something beautiful and Disney theatrical should own what it has and be proud of it. Seems like they have something against " The Little Mermaid" these days. Cause they should also release the 3D version in theaters still like they were going to.Disney bottom-line is keep your promises. I also hope that when the time comes Aladdin goes on tour. Thanks for reading.
