Something that bothers me is that nowadays Disney is treating the DP franchise like a fast money tool. Like every female character they make in the movies does directly join the franchise. It bothers me because before it felt like a very exclusive club where only the main 6 were (P and M sometimes), while Meg and the other girls were less value girls, what made the Princesses more elite characters. A couple of days ago, I got my first COVID vaccine. I'm supposed to get my second one on the 8th of January. For me, it wasn't that bad. I mean, I HATE needles but it was a lot quicker than a flu shot. My arm was sore but in the same way it would be after a flu shot. I finally checked out The Owl House and I love how it reminds me so much of Adventure Time and Gravity Falls (Alex works on TOW too!) I love Disney ornaments and every year the Disney Store releases their signature sketchbook ornaments. This year, there was a special line called Fairytale Moments featuring the official 12 princesses as well as Anna and Elsa. Maybe some will know, but in Japan, the DP franchise is formed by only 7 Princesses:(Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine and Rapunzel)

I really like it and I find it understandable cause at the end they 7 are the more "princessy" looking ones. In fact, they are pretty much the most popular of the 12 group, and the ones that better sell with little girls. Maybe Moana could be added.

Today, on November 17, 1989, Disney secured it's future billionaire company through the release of The Little Mermaid. Some 31 years later, it's hard to believe that this was "the movie " that actually would make or break the success of the animation behemoth. Hey guys, I just watched the original Lady And The Tramp, and I'm debating on if I should watch the sequel. I'd like to know what you thought if you watched it. From what I've seen, the animation looks slightly different, but the movie was made like 45 years later, AND, I know it has different voice actors because of that. I just saw Mulan 2020 and this is my opinion: The movie did a great job in keeping me entertained. The traditional Chinese culture shines through. The story line, action, visuals, and character development is outstanding. Unfortunately, the remake differs drastically from the original movie. Well, I FINALLY saw Mulan (2020) and I have to say that it was honestly amazing. Yeah, I know that's unpopular on here, despite that this opinion is coming from people who say they aren't going to see it and therefore can't say anything about the movie. ANYWAY, this is what The Last Airbender should've been in terms of tone. I put it in the same category as Cinderella, 101 Dalmatians, and The Jungle Book of taking a different and unique spin while also staying true to the spirit of the original. Posted over a year ago
