Guess what? Next week I'm going to test work in a toy-shop for 2 days starting on Monday. It's not clearly decided yet, but I think that's where I'm going to work. Luckily I have experience from working in a food store 1 ½ year ago. That week I will only go 1 day in school, what's special is that I'm doing it despite going my 2nd year in high school and that we're doing the National Tests that takes a lot of energy. So next year I will graduate :D

Off topic and I'm not sure if anyone really cares or not, but I'm only 13, meaning that the majority of the time I've been on here I was about 11 and therefore too young. Obviously I'm old enough now, but still.
I'm kind of scared to post this, and I don't really know whether it's a big deal or not, but maybe you guys don't care. Maybe it isn't even that much of a surprise ha. I don't know, but I'm sorry :/

no worries sweetie, I don't think your the only one that started out very young on here...no need to post your age though just in case there are any pedophiles or just creepy people that might take advantage of your young age. I don't think too many people on here post their real age and some maybe not their real gender either or real countries....just be careful who you give out info tooover a year ago
I agree with SweetPea2007. Take some major precaution when it comes to telling people about yourself. For example, I wouldn't really be spreading around your email adress or age or where exactly you live. If you just say what country you're from that's okay but don't say what town you're in or your adress or anything. Heck if you meet someone and they seem to be totally okay and friendly stay cautios. Take me for another example; I'm a 19 year old girl living in Washington but for all you know I'm probably a man in his mid forties preying on children who like DPs. Don't worry though cuz I'm totally not some guy in his mid forties preying on children :P Like I said that's just an exampleover a year ago
I also agree with SweetPea2007. To me though, age is just a number. I know some people who are in their 30's and have the maturity of a 12 year old, lol.over a year ago
You're never too young or too old for loving Disney or things you love, and you're never too young or too old to express yourself and post your opinions. It's good that you're here:) I'm 23 myself and I'm not ashamed of my Disney love in a slightest and I get alone very well with young people who post on boards/spots where I post and it's interesting for me to read their opinions, including yourth.over a year ago

So I spent all of yesturday with my little cousin and I had a blast. First we went to the movies with his future step-dad to see the Avengers. I thought the movie was just okay but they liked it. Later we went back to his house and hung out. Me and him went to the park, into the woods, played around, I picked him up to mess with him, and we had some pizza while we watched The Lion King. It was an awesome day and I was sad that it ended. I love that kid!

^Yeah, I watched Lion King, too. Then, ironically, I had to go to my sister's band concert, in which they played the entire Lion King soundtrack. That was slightly awkward...over a year ago
Today before we left to go back home we had a cook out and his mom and future step-dad told everyone how great an influence I am on him. I kept telling him he shouldn't be using curse language, that he shouldn't steal(which he did yesturday, a pair of 3-D glasses), not to try fake crying to get his way, and not to lie; I kept saying how his nose kept growing and asking where Jimminy Cricket was. It makes me feel great knowing that I'm actually influencing him in a good way and everyone sees me as a good role model. It makes me feel like a disney character like Ariel or Mulan that inspires people. I just hope I'll be able to do that if I ever get to live my dream of working with disney in making movies and this certain thing I'm trying to do with disney.over a year ago
Today I'm going to have a new experience... In my school we have 8-9 tests in all mondays, and they are very hard. Since I have a big facility at school, I decided to organize a study group in my house and I'll teach my school friends. I'll charge them something about $7 dollars, and I'll donate all the money I get to a charity institution. I'm happy I'll be able to help people with an ability I have. I hope people will understand my maths class today!

If you're going to read Part 6 of Rose Red I just want to mention first of all that this part is very ORIGINAL, second the last part of this part is quite horrible so be prepared on that, third don't forget to comment! The reason to why I wanted to make the last part of this part a little scary was because I was listening to a song that had a sad tune to it.

So last night I watched The Notebook for the first time, and I don't think it was as great as everyone makes it out to be. Of course, the acting was great, the love story was beautiful, but I felt like it was missing something. I felt like it was, I don't know, rushed I guess? I still liked it though, but not as much as I thought I would.

I know you guys won't care about this but I had the most scary thing in my life happen ... I fainted right in the middle of the LA science center! They put me in a wheel chair to a secret room there and the paramedics came and said I had low blood sugar but I'm still really dizzy and when I fell I fell face first so now the front side of me is sore! =[ It was so scary!

Oh, I've only nearly fainted when I was at school going upstairs (my teacher and 1 classmate manage to catch me so I didn't hit the floor). But it was a horrible feeling. I used to have dizzy moments where I felt I was going to fall. Last Sunday I had to be rushed to the emergency room and they had to put me an IV. Thankfully you didn't broke anything. Hope you're feeling okay now.over a year ago
I always thought it meant the child was dead (That the Huns killed her and all the other villagers) or maybe it signifies the death of childhood ...either of those things would sadden her, but I don't think she knew the child personallyover a year ago
I think it doesn't matter if she knew the girl or not, an innocent child was killed and she got sad. Maybe she was thinking on how many children had died by the hands of Shan-Yu and his warriors. I agree with princesslullaby and Mongoose09.over a year ago

you guys I'm so fangirling over Shang right now while I'm watching the movie. He's just so masculine, so disciplined, so just, so organized, so well-groomed. His hair is always fixed and tied up. And his voice *chills* so freaking perfect. And his body is so dang buff. It's just right for Shang to take off his shirt. It would be a waste if he just covered it. This movie just got 10x better.

^ I love it as well. Throughout the whole movie he tries his hardest to be a proper capitan and to lead his army, he trains that bunch of "girls" and makes men out of them and he shows them how to be a man, but at the end when he falls for Mulan he is being so awkward and you can really see hw is just a young guy and just as confused and insecure as all the other guys.over a year ago

Okay I know that nobody's going to care but I just felt like sharing this for no good reason. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS WEEKEND! I'm going to West Virginia with my mom to go visit my mom's side of the family. We're going there because my cousin is getting married and we're going to my mom and aunt can help her find a wedding dress. I'm excited because I'll get to hang out with my cousin's 10 year old son. Plus he's just so cute and funny! One time he actually lifted his shirt up and told my aunt/his grandma "Hey Grandma! Look, I've got a six pack!" LOL. Plus he's a really horrible liar that it's just so funny! When my grandma was still alive he played cards with her and was cheating, she knew he was and she was just laughing. Plus this one time when he asked me to guess what he was drinking, I said punch, he asked what color, I said red, he said no, than I said "Oh really? Than why do you have a red mustache on your upper lip?" LOL! I love that kid so much! Use to when he was younger we would get on a bed or couch and pretend that the floor was willed with crocodiles and we would fight them off. I can't wait to hang out with him again!over a year ago

I noticed something odd while watching some of the Disney movies. Almost all the villains (excluding Shan Yu) have/had some part of either their outfit of physical appearance in the color of red. Part of the Queen's dress was red. Tremaine's, Gaston's, Jafar's, and Gothel's main outfits were all red. Both Maleficent's and Ursula's nails were painted red. Ratcliffe wore red bows and a red cape. And the band on Facilier 's hat was red, too. Weird, huh?

I watched the Prince of Egypt the other day again after many years. I still find it a little scary and not very much in my taste, but I absolutely love its soundtrack. Stephen Schwartz is not just a great lyricist, but an amazing composer too. I literally can't get the songs out of my head! I think my favourite is "All I Ever Wanted", but I love the others too. Today was AWESOME! There's this kid who's been bullying me and today when he was bugging me I hit him in the face with my lunchbox. It wasn't exactly my first weapon of choice and I would've used my fist if the teacher wasn't there. He tackled me and the teacher pulled him back before I got the chance to elbow him in the neck. I find her adorable, amazing and strong. 18 years of basically being a brainwashed prisoner of an insane selfish and manipulative woman whom she believed to be her mother, breaking free from her and finding herself, having her whole world falling apart in just one day and still keeping sanity and having to re-build her life and start all over- and all of it to endure for such young girl and still stay likable, kind and good at heart is amusing.over a year ago
To me, Mulan is the most complex princess. She's truly dimensional and nuanced in a ways I think goes over a lot of people's heads, especially kids. When she admits to herself that it may not have just been self-sacrifice that led her to war but her need to find an identity worth embracing is REALLY deep. I didn't grasp what she was talking about in that scene when I was little, I just knew she was sad. Reflection is about identity, something more profound than most princesses have sung about.

I guess that's why it's my favorite cartoon. It's different, but I can relate to it in so many ways and all in all it's a big inspirational grasp.over a year ago
I agree - Mulan is a movie which only gets better the older one is. Sadly, between all those renaissance princesses, which don't change at all, Mulan gets easily overlooked. There is a reason I consider her more a "new generation" princess than a renaissance one, even if he movie was done in the 90sover a year ago
Yeah, since Pocahontas and Mulan or more honorary they don't get as much attention as say, Cinderella or even Jasmine and Snow White. Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Ariel probably get the most.over a year ago
I wouldn't go as far as saying that Mulan is THE most complex, but she is my favourite princess alone with Ariel. I like their willingess to fight for finding their identity, going against prejudiced standards (Mulan going to war despite being a girl and proving to everyone that she can and should be treated equally to men and Ariel basically breaking the biggest prejudice that her family and all the mermaids had about humans judging them without even getting to know them and their culture like Ariel did).over a year ago
