She was part of the lower class so she was probably never taught by a professional. Reading, Writing and language was prolly taught by Gothel. Astronomy? I don't know, I find it pretty much as common sense to guess that RECTANGULAR SHAPED BOXES in the sky weren't stars but hey I guess that makes you Sherlock Holmes... Jk. :) I just think that yes, while she had an impressive number of qualities that doesn't add much to her intelligence. She was extremely sheltered throughout her life and uses a bit of favoritism when ruling the kingdom. It just goes to show how intelligent you can be by knowing more about the rules, like Elsa. Merida is very quick witted and throughout the movie it's shown that she practices the education that she LIKES to learn very well. She's educated, without a doubt. Elsa, although not shown in the movie is very educated. She loves geomet-EW EW EW I HATE MATH! Sorry. My point is that all of the princesses are smart, obviously, but also very well educated. Rapunzel is creative and witty at times but was she ever educated? No. And that immediately eliminates her. posted over a year ago.
