I think he seems like the kind of person who probably would have been percieved as a bit of a dork so i think he's perhaps friends with Gaston because he's popular - but obviously Gaston's not a very good friend to him which is quite sad because I think Lefou just wants to be accepted --- well that's the impression i get anyway lol

He admire Gaston and he take advantage of it(that's how he is forcing him to obey gaston). And honestly, Gaston and Lefou are like my elder brother(like Gaston) and my little brother(Lefou). The only difference between my big brother and Gaston is that he isn't popular. And because I feel sorry for my little brother I also feel sorry for Lefou, they both are too easy to provoke, but still kind of are happy.
