Not sure why exactly. I know it's politically incorrect but probably because even though everyone has personal taste, it seems to be the most popular hair color among men.

that's maybe the reason why every single toy line, film series and merchandises aimed for girls have their main heroine with blonde hair (take a look at Barbie) also Blonds are consider often prettier than brunettes (or any other color).

I think it's because generally men find youthfulness attractive and blonde hair is more closely associated with youth than any other.

Honestly from my experience, men generally prefer blondes. And I do think blonde hair is more feminine, not saying it looks bad on men at all!
