John Smith.
1)risked his life 3 times. 1/saved thomas 2/took the blame for something he didn't do 3/took a bullet instead of Powhatan just because he was Pocahontas' father. I love that he changed after his first meeting with Pocahontas, he supports equallity and justice after that, he goes against his general for justice and the one he loves.

Pocahontas' personality is great,too.

I love John Smith, but I decided to go with Pocahontas for this one because in the beginning John was calling Pocahontas and her people "savages." I know that that was just custom at the time, but Pocahontas never had prejudices of the English, in my opinion. I think Pocahontas taught John to be a better person.
