I can't believe that Pixar changed Merida's look

Merida's new look makes her appear more as child

And her new look doesn't look that serious. Merida is expected to fight dark forces. Merida's new look doesn't really make her look like fighter.

The reason I like the previous look of Merida because she looks beautiful but yet serious. Traits of Princess fighter

I love both actually. I love how mature her face was in the first, but I also love how she looks now, especially her eyes. :)

^ I agree. I couldn't really tell either. But I like this picture better. It's a clearer shot of her face, and her eyes look lovely.

I can't really tell the difference to be honest but she does look slightly more youthful in the "confirmed" picture than in this one. I think she looks better in this one, it just suits her character and personality more from what I've heard/seen.

It's like Rapunzel. I didn't expect her to be nowhere near as youthful as she was in the movie.

What do you mean? I see the same face. She just has a different expression in the first one because she's focusing on aiming the arrow. And she's just simply looking at something in the "confirmed" picture. I like the "confirmed' shot of her better for the same reason as DreamyGal.
