Not be mean, but don't you think this is going to cause another big internet fight between people who can't accept others opinions again? I really don't like how we pretty much put Belle and Ariel on "Princess Smackdown" all the time.

Anyway, Belle's situation sounds a lot smoother.

Ariel's my favorite princess, but I LOVE Beauty and the Beast!!

No offense, but the way the choices are worded kind of sound Belle-biased. Ariel has all the fish she can be friends with (plus Scuttle), and goes up to the surface in spite of what her father says. She also has her family, and gets to lounge around all day, and is pretty happy that she's in love (before her dad went and ruined it).
I'd rather be with my family and away from my love, living a pretty much happy life besides that (she has her collection, and her animal friends), than be living away from the person most important to me (for Belle that's her dad), being pretty much forceably taken from my home (Belle really had no choice- would you let your dad rot in a dungeon?) and being miserable for a long amount of time (yeah, they become friends, but I bet Belle's life was miserable for a couple of weeks before the Beast decided to be nice- if I'm wrong, correct me NICELY).

If you don't want to start another flame war, try ones for Jasmine and Aurora- they were both sheltered for a time.

Hmm, I guess I'm already living Ariel's life. It's been bugging me a lot. Though I'm not sure if I want to be around a beast. I'm not Belle to have feelings for a dude giving me drama. So I guess I'll continue with my sheltered life but still have that longing feeling for something I can't have.

at least at the end i will be a princess and get married with the most hansome prince.

Ariel was born in the sea and she's free to do what she wants. Her Dad's only rule is don't go to the surface and considering what humans would do to a mermaid if they found one it's really not all that unreasonable.

Belle however is being held in the castle against her will. Not allowed to leave. And listen I'm not trying to be difficult but I wouldn't love the Beast, I always promised myself I wouldn't be one of those people who develops Stockholm Syndrome!
