It's funny. Most of the club doesn't bother accusing Philip of a bad reputation ( because he is willing to leave his kingdom and marry a peasant girl)-- but we must accuse Ariel of being completely selfish if she does the exact same thing.

Maybe not selfish, but reckless at the very least. He's the heir to the kingdom, and if he were really going to marry a peasant girl... well, that's how wars used to start! Royalty and other upper-class people would've felt slighted. Thankfully, Aurora turned out to be a princess. :)

No one is perfect, neither of the princesses were perfect, they don't become wiser without making bad choices sometime in their lives.
