Don't really know why for this one. I read that the ancient English girls were required to possess, gestures and speech graceful, elegant as Queen Victoria. Girls were going to faint as a reaction of fear, shock or sadness. I think that attitudes were fit with her so much.

I think, like many of the other DPs, she's based on a medley. Her personality reminds me most of german but the castle designs remind me most of english. The original tale is french though.

Sleeping Beauty is a French opera, so I've always seen Aurora as being French. That and all the fleur-de-lis symbols in the movie.

Of course, she could be from the general location of Alsace-Lorraine or something. :) It's been disputed between France and Germany for a while now.

She looks very German to me. Not just her appearance but her kingdom as well.

It seems really like German to me. Stefan and Hubert are both German names and their clothes are the color of the German flag. I don't know, it just feels German.

I think a mix of all three.
