Sorry if any of this offends you, this isn't all my opinion btw.

With Jasmine, I like that she isn't judgemental towards Aladdin and I want to marry for love too. But when I think about it, she's rich so she doesn't have to worry about marrying a street rat. I know it sounds awful but I think it's true...

Also others too, I think Aurora sometimes gets too much credit and sometimes not enough. Pocahontas being called one of the smartest and one of the best role models, I don't agree. Mulan, I think is definitely the bravest but some seem to be ignoring the other Princesses' bravery with that. Same with Tiana, I think it's because the movie constantly reminds us that Tia is hardworking. She is the most hardworking but not by far IMO. With Merida, I think everyone would own up to their mistakes if they were her tbh.

Sorry again... I'm so negative right now lol.

She really isn't that original. Her personality is much like Rapunzels and a few other princesses. The only thing new about her is the "crazy hair in the morning".

MacytheStrange picked for being the bravest Princess.:
She's super brave, but sometimes people seem to think she's the only brave DP, and I do think that there are DPs braver than her.

I also think Cinderella gets too much credit for going to the ball, it wasn't that hard when she had her mice and, later, a fairy godmother doing everything for her.

Really, she isn't that original. Just as original as every other DP. It's just the fact that she was awkward makes everyone thinks she is the most original when she is just like everyone else, no different.

Who the heck thinks Anna is original? She's just an annoying version of Rapunzel, who was the awkward one, not Anna. Elsa is not developed or layered at all, but then again none of the characters in Frozen are.

I honestly like them all but I really think they all get too much credit for these things. Yes, some of these are true but the princesses still get too much credit for these things.

Maybe Rapunzel and Merida are the ones that are given the least credit but that is it really.

Tygers_Eye picked for taking risks/action.:
This is hard because I feel this way about Ariel, Anna and Elsa.

Ariel nearly/did screw herself and others over MULTIPLE times by charging recklessly into dangerous situations, against people's advice, against her better judgment, and without considering the consequences. She never dealt with the consequences, got bailed out by said people who warned her, then got what she wanted from the blood, sweat and tears of other people who thanklessly saved her tail. And people praise this as a GOOD THING???

Anna: So far from original it's not even funny. She's Rapunzel with shorter, oranger hair.

Elsa: So far from developed and complex, it's not even funny. I don't even think she's a full character. I literally don't know anything about her other than she has ice powers she's afraid of, she's Anna's older sister, the king and queen's eldest daughter, and the queen. That's IT. Nothing about her hobbies, interests, hopes, dreams, fears, ambitions, etc. outside her sister or powers.

Onyxis picked for owning up to her mistakes.:
This is a well made poll, I agree at least slightly for nearly all of these. But in case with Merida everyone would have owned up mistakes in her position like you said. And I would assume most much sooner. If she had not, she would not have been only a horrible role model but nearly the villain of the film.
