I love her to death but sometimes depending on what mood I'm in I think she's pretty dumb. I mean who actually jumps off a cliff that high? That's the size of an empire state building and jumping from that could have, and should have, killed her. Also when John Smith was pointing a gun at her she just stood there. I realize she didn't know what it was but any idiot has the common sense of knowing when a stranger points something at you and you don't know what it is you RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

She's basically a kid. She's smart, but far too naive to be smart in the 'street' way.

Rapunzel? Rapunzel is one of the most intelligent princesses. SHE TEACHES HERSELF TO CHART STARS! I don't understand how people with training can learn to do that. That's the kind of stuff Galileo did!
And Pocahontas. Really, they are two of the least intelligent princesses. I agree with hatelarxene on Pocahontas. Tiana- YOU'RE NOT HUMAN! That can't be Naveen trying to marry Charlotte- and you KNOW there's a fake Naveen! And you know that he was dancing with Charlotte at the masquerade ball! Shouldn't all that clue you in?

Yeah, I do not see Pocahontas as being smart really. She has not and can not make a proper decision, thin rationally, does stupid things that can harm her, and deliberately hung out with someone who is known to be dangerous. She does not have common sense, or book sense. Not dumb, but not smart

I do not know why Rapunzel has the most votes. She is pretty close to a Mary-Sue, so she is not dumb

Rapunzel is mostly just childish, but I don't think she's the most unintelligent. And Jasmin doesn't really even talk about much in the movie. Just about how she's not a prize to be won. But I think all the princesses and heroines are intelligent.

You can be a genius and still be street-dumb like she is. I know I'm intelligent but I didn't get good grades in school (I want to get tested to dyscalculia, my math was/is THAT bad). I think we're all thinking of different kinds of intelligence here :\ We all know she is book smart but she makes a lot of poor decisions and completely follows her feelings, not common sense or logic. I don't think she's dumb for being naive though, same as Snow White, but as someone else said, she's an ivory tower intellectual.

I think Pocahontas is intelligent and perceptive but completely lacking common sense. that's how a lot of intelligent people are (my mom always told me I have none..). if this makes her dumb, it should make Rapunzel dumb too because she's the same way.

I think Belle's intelligence is wildly exaggerated. If Pocahontas is dumb for making foolish decisions Belle takes the cake then for letting her stalker into her house (possibly while she was alone), going into the west wing after being TOLD NOT TO be a monster and not knowing what was in there or what he would have done to her if she had.

Sorry, but saying that Pocahontas was unintelligent because when John Smith pointed his gun at her she didn't run...no, just no. She didn't know what was that, she didn't even think this could harm her, so why does she need to run away from it. She runs away from John Smith, which is a reasonable decision.
