If they could do the story of Cleopatra or Nefertiti I would be so happy!

I would love to see someone like Hatshepsut.

They could even do something with Egyptian mythology, for example something with Isis

With Japanese, this would be a good opportunity to have another traditionally feminine princess (I mean because Japan is big on that, they're far more traditionally feminine than our western culture). I'd be so happy if they did that! and so the political correctness police would settle down already, they'd have another nonwhite princess in the lineup.

I'd also love an official German princess. I know people say Snow White is, which would be great, and some say Punz is too, but I wish with one we'd know for sure.

I want my Hispanic princess. Sure, Egyptian would be awesome because she would have a pretty look, they could work with mythology, and I like hieroglyphs. 8D But before that, I want a Hispanic princess. Maybe from Spain, even though they are White, but that's where Hispanic ancestors were originally from, I guess.

Ugh I've always wanted an Egyptian princess, so much mythology and history to work with, and the culture is amazing. Japanese, or Brazilian could be cool too. Can't really do a Hawaiian princess since we already had Lilo and Stitch, and that franchise was huge.

It would be nice to have an Indian (not Native American!) princess so that more people would be able to differentiate between Arab and Indian. I also like the idea of an ancient Egyptian princess, or even Japanese!

I honestly don't care about the princess' race as long as she's not another Ariel/Rapunzel clone. And I don't want Disney to make a movie just so they would have a Latino princess. That was one of the problems with PATF.

I agree with JNTA too. Tiana being black felt really forced to me, although of course she has her place. I have a strong feeling if they do get another Hispanic one (and YES, Sofia the First IS the first Hispanic princess, people!), it will feel forced as well. But I always said an Aztec princess (maybe protesting sacrifice like Poca protested prejudice, if Disney can pull that off) would be neat.

also, I'm not so sure we'll get an Italian or Spanish one... I can see people complaining about adding "more white girls" to the lineup. on the other hand, a lot of people seem to think Italians and Spaniards aren't white simply because most are olive skinned brunettes :| Plus, if we do get an Asian one, I'm sure that even though an Asian princess would HAVE to be pale, people would complain about whitewashing her too.

Sorry to sound pessimistic... I just hear so many complaining about Disney I can also hear what ones that haven't been made yet.

Sofia isn't Latina... -_-; The only Hispanic royalty that Disney made was Kuzco in The Emperor's New Groove. That's great and all but I want a princess in the lineup.
